Setup
Unpacking and Assembly
- Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
- Inspect the saw for any damage that may have occurred during shipping. Do not operate if damaged.
- Ensure all listed components are present (refer to Figure 3).
- Mount the miter saw securely to a workbench or stable surface using appropriate fasteners.
Battery Installation and Charging
- Insert the V20 Lithium Ion Battery into the charger. Ensure it clicks into place.
- Plug the charger into a standard electrical outlet. The indicator light on the charger will show charging status.
- Once fully charged, remove the battery from the charger.
- Align the battery pack with the battery port on the saw and slide it in until it locks securely.

Operating Instructions
General Operation
- Ensure the workpiece is free of nails, screws, or other foreign objects.
- Position the workpiece firmly against the fence and the saw base. Use the material clamp for added stability.
- Hold the saw handle firmly and depress the trigger to start the motor. Allow the blade to reach full speed before cutting.
- Slowly lower the blade through the workpiece, maintaining a steady, controlled motion.
- Once the cut is complete, release the trigger and allow the blade to stop completely before raising the saw head.

Miter Cuts
- Loosen the miter lock handle.
- Rotate the turntable to the desired miter angle. The 9 detent stops allow for common angles.
- Tighten the miter lock handle securely.
- Proceed with the cut as described in "General Operation".
Bevel Cuts
The saw features a single bevel capability up to 47 degrees.
- Loosen the bevel lock knob located at the rear of the saw.
- Tilt the saw head to the desired bevel angle.
- Tighten the bevel lock knob securely.
- Proceed with the cut as described in "General Operation".
Sliding Action
For wider workpieces, utilize the sliding function of the saw.
- Pull the saw head forward along the slide rails.
- Start the motor and slowly push the saw head back through the workpiece.
- Maintain a consistent feed rate for a clean cut.

Maintenance
Blade Replacement
WARNING: Always disconnect the battery pack before performing any maintenance.
- Using the provided blade wrench, loosen the arbor nut while holding the blade still.
- Carefully remove the old blade.
- Install the new 7-1/4 inch carbide-tipped blade, ensuring the teeth are oriented correctly for cutting.
- Tighten the arbor nut securely.
Cleaning and Storage
- Regularly empty the dust bag to maintain efficient dust collection.
- Clean the saw with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Keep the slide rails clean and lubricated for smooth operation.
- Store the miter saw in a dry, secure location out of reach of children.
