Setup and Installation
The GRIFEMA Berlin-G13004 mixer tap is designed for wall-mounted installation. Installation typically takes less than 20 minutes with the provided straightforward instructions and fittings.
- Preparation: Turn off the main water supply. Clear the installation area.
- Mounting the Mixer Tap:
- Attach the eccentric connectors (included in the installation kit) to your wall's hot and cold water outlets. Ensure they are level and at the correct distance for the mixer tap.
- Apply PTFE tape to the threads for a watertight seal.
- Secure the decorative escutcheons over the eccentric connectors.
- Connect the main mixer tap unit to the eccentric connectors, ensuring washers are correctly seated. Tighten firmly but do not overtighten.
- Connecting the Shower Hose:
- Attach one end of the 1.5m stainless steel hose (G1/2 inch standard) to the outlet on the bottom of the mixer tap.
- Attach the other end of the hose to the 5-function hand shower.
- Installing the Shower Holder:
- Choose a suitable position on the wall for the ABS shower holder.
- Mark the drilling points, drill holes, insert wall plugs, and secure the holder with screws.
- Final Check: Turn on the main water supply slowly and check all connections for leaks.

Operating Instructions
The GRIFEMA Berlin-G13004 features a single lever for controlling water flow and temperature, and a diverter knob to switch between the tap spout and the hand shower.
- Water Flow and Temperature: Use the single lever handle to adjust both water flow and temperature. Moving the lever up increases flow, and moving it down decreases flow. Moving it left typically provides hot water, and right provides cold water (standard plumbing configuration).
- Diverter: Pull the small knob located on the top of the tap body to divert water from the tap spout to the hand shower. Push it back down to return water to the tap spout.
- 5-Function Hand Shower: The hand shower offers five different spray patterns. Rotate the shower head's faceplate or a dedicated selector (if present) to cycle through the spray functions.

Maintenance
To maintain the mirror-like finish and ensure the longevity of your GRIFEMA mixer tap, follow these cleaning guidelines:
- Regular Cleaning: Clean the tap regularly with a soft cloth and mild soap or a non-abrasive liquid cleaner specifically designed for chrome finishes.
- Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Do not use abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, acids, or solvents, as these can damage the polished chrome surface.
- Drying: After cleaning, wipe the tap dry with a soft, clean cloth to prevent water spots and maintain its shine.
- Shower Head Nozzles: Periodically check and clean the nozzles of the hand shower to remove any limescale buildup, which can affect spray patterns.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your mixer tap, consider the following common solutions:
- Low Water Flow:
- Check if the main water supply is fully open.
- Inspect the aerator at the tap spout or the shower head nozzles for blockages (e.g., limescale, debris). Clean as necessary.
- Leaks from Connections:
- Ensure all connections are securely tightened. Do not overtighten.
- Verify that all washers and seals are correctly seated and not damaged. Replace if necessary.
- Dripping Tap:
- A dripping tap often indicates a worn-out ceramic cartridge. While the product features a premium ceramic valve for leak-free operation, if dripping occurs over time, the cartridge may need replacement. Contact customer support for assistance.
- Water Not Diverting to Shower:
- Ensure the diverter knob is fully pulled up.
- Check for any obstructions in the diverter mechanism.
