3. Setup and Installation
This fixture is designed for ceiling installation. Assembly is not required for the main fixture body, simplifying the installation process.
- Turn Off Power: Before starting, ensure the power to the junction box is turned off at the circuit breaker or fuse box.
- Prepare Mounting: Attach the mounting strap (part of B) to the outlet box using the provided outlet box screws. Ensure the strap is securely fastened.
- Adjust Hanging Height (if applicable): If your chandelier uses a chain or adjustable stem (D), determine the desired hanging height and adjust the chain/stem length accordingly.
- Wiring:
- Connect the bare copper or green ground wire from the fixture to the ground wire from the outlet box using a wire nut. Secure the ground wire to the mounting strap with the ground screw.
- Connect the white wire from the fixture to the white (neutral) wire from the outlet box using a wire nut.
- Connect the black wire from the fixture to the black (hot) wire from the outlet box using a wire nut.
- Ensure all wire connections are secure and tucked neatly into the outlet box.
- Mount Fixture: Carefully lift the chandelier and attach the canopy (C) to the mounting strap, securing it with the provided screws or decorative nuts. Ensure the fixture is firmly attached to the ceiling.
- Install Bulbs: Insert nine (9) incandescent bulbs (max 60 Watts each) into the fixture's sockets. Refer to the fixture's socket for the exact base type (e.g., E12 Candelabra). Do not overtighten.

4. Operating Instructions
The Feiss Brianna Chandelier operates via a standard wall switch connected to the fixture's electrical circuit.
- Turning On/Off: Flip the wall switch to the 'ON' position to illuminate the chandelier. Flip it to the 'OFF' position to turn off the lights.
- Bulb Replacement: Ensure power is off at the circuit breaker before replacing any bulbs. Allow bulbs to cool completely before touching. Unscrew old bulbs and screw in new ones of the correct type and wattage.
5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance will help preserve the appearance and functionality of your chandelier.
- Cleaning: Dust the fixture regularly with a soft, dry cloth. For more thorough cleaning, wipe with a damp cloth using only mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive cleaners, solvents, or polishes as they may damage the finish.
- Bulb Check: Periodically check that all bulbs are securely seated in their sockets.
- Electrical Connections: If you notice any flickering or intermittent operation, ensure all electrical connections are secure. If issues persist, consult a qualified electrician.
6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your chandelier, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- Light does not turn on:
- Check if the wall switch is in the 'ON' position.
- Verify that the circuit breaker is not tripped.
- Ensure bulbs are correctly installed and not burnt out. Replace if necessary.
- Check wiring connections at the junction box and fixture. Ensure they are secure.
- Lights flicker:
- Ensure bulbs are fully screwed into their sockets.
- Check for loose wiring connections.
- If using a dimmer switch, ensure it is compatible with incandescent bulbs and rated for the total wattage of the fixture.
- Fixture hums:
- Some dimmers can cause humming. Ensure dimmer compatibility.
- Loose wiring can also cause humming. Check connections.
If problems persist after attempting these solutions, contact a qualified electrician or customer support.
