Setup and Installation

Follow these steps to convert your Suite Bebe convertible crib into a full-size bed. Assembly typically takes 20-30 minutes.

1. Prepare the Crib: Use an allen key to remove the screws at the footboard and headboard of your crib. Set the headboard and footboard aside and remove the crib side panel assembly.
2. Attach Bed Rails to Headboard: Remove the new bed rails from the kit. Place them perpendicular to the headboard. Test fit the prepackaged mounting bracket to the headboard. Secure the brackets with the supplied hardware. Make sure to tighten bolts equally.
3. Attach Bed Rails to Footboard: Repeat the process on the other side, securing the bed rails to the footboard.
4. Install Slats: Place the provided four wooden slats evenly across the bed rails. Secure each slat to the bed rails with the provided screws.
5. Add Mattress Support: A box spring or additional slats must be used to support the mattress.

• Slats: The kit includes four slats. For memory foam mattresses or to keep the bed lower, additional slats are recommended to provide continuous support and prevent sagging.
• Box Spring: A box spring can be used for added height and support, but it will raise the mattress level significantly.
