Installation Guide
Unpacking Your Refrigerator
Remove all packaging materials, including the foam base and adhesive tape holding accessories in place. Inspect the refrigerator for any damage during transit. Keep packaging materials until you are satisfied with the product's operation.
Location Requirements
Choose a location with a strong, level floor capable of supporting the refrigerator when fully loaded. Allow at least 5 inches (12.7 cm) of space between the back and sides of the refrigerator and the surrounding walls to ensure proper air circulation and cooling efficiency. Avoid direct sunlight or heat sources.
Leveling the Refrigerator
It is important for the refrigerator to be level for proper operation. Adjust the leveling legs located at the bottom front of the unit by turning them clockwise to raise or counter-clockwise to lower until the refrigerator is stable and level.
Door Reversal
This refrigerator features reversible door hinges, allowing the door to open from either the left or right side. Refer to the detailed instructions provided in a separate diagram for the door reversal process, if desired.
Electrical Connection
Ensure the power outlet is a dedicated 115 Volt, 60 Hz, 15 Amp AC only electrical outlet. Do not use extension cords or adapter plugs. Plug the refrigerator into the wall outlet and allow it to stand for at least 2-4 hours before loading with food to allow the refrigerant to settle.

Operation
Temperature Control
The temperature in the refrigerator is controlled by a thermostat dial located inside the fresh food compartment. Turn the dial to adjust the temperature. Setting "1" is the warmest, and "7" is the coldest. A setting of "4" or "5" is generally recommended for normal use.

Care and Maintenance
Cleaning the Refrigerator
Unplug the refrigerator before cleaning. Clean the interior and exterior surfaces regularly with a mild detergent and warm water. Wipe dry with a soft cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or sharp objects. The door gasket should be kept clean to ensure a proper seal.
Defrosting
This refrigerator features an automatic defrost system for the fresh food compartment. The freezer compartment may require manual defrosting if frost buildup exceeds 1/4 inch (0.6 cm). To defrost, remove all food, unplug the unit, and leave the freezer door open. Place towels on the floor to catch melting ice. Do not use sharp objects to remove ice.
Power Interruptions
In case of a power outage, keep the refrigerator door closed to maintain the internal temperature for as long as possible. Avoid opening the door unnecessarily. If the outage is prolonged, consider transferring perishable items to a cooler with ice.
Vacation and Moving
For long vacations, unplug the refrigerator, empty all food, clean it thoroughly, and leave the door slightly ajar to prevent odors and mold. When moving, secure all loose items inside, tape the doors shut, and transport the unit in an upright position.
Troubleshooting
Before contacting customer service, please refer to the following common issues and their solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Refrigerator does not operate. | Not plugged in; circuit breaker tripped; temperature control set to "OFF". | Ensure plug is secure; reset circuit breaker; turn temperature control to a desired setting. |
| Temperature is too warm. | Door opened too frequently; large amount of warm food added; poor air circulation; thermostat setting too high. | Minimize door openings; allow warm food to cool before placing in fridge; ensure proper spacing for air flow; adjust thermostat to a colder setting. |
| Excessive frost buildup in freezer. | Freezer door not sealed properly; high humidity. | Check door gasket for proper seal; ensure food items are properly sealed. Manual defrost if necessary. |
| Unusual noises. | Refrigerator not level; items vibrating inside; normal operating sounds. | Level the refrigerator; rearrange items; gurgling/hissing sounds are normal refrigerant flow. |
