7. Maintenance
Regular maintenance helps ensure the longevity and performance of your PC components.
7.1. Cleaning the Case
- Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe down the exterior of the case. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
- For the tempered glass panel, use a glass cleaner and a microfiber cloth.
- Use compressed air to remove dust from inside the case and from fan blades.
7.2. Dust Filter Maintenance
The Rainbow R3 may include removable dust filters (e.g., for the PSU intake or top panel). Regularly remove and clean these filters with water and mild soap, then allow them to dry completely before reinstallation.
8. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your PC case, consider the following common solutions:
- PC not powering on: Ensure all power cables (24-pin ATX, 8-pin CPU, GPU power) are securely connected to the motherboard and components. Check that the PSU is switched on and plugged into a working outlet. Verify front panel power button connections to the motherboard.
- RGB lighting not working: Check that the RGB strip is correctly connected to the power supply or motherboard RGB header. If controlled by a button, try cycling through modes.
- Poor airflow/overheating: Ensure all case fans are spinning correctly. Clean any dust filters and internal components. Verify proper cable management to avoid obstructing airflow.
- Loose screws/rattling: Check all installed components and side panels to ensure they are securely fastened.
