  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the jack from its packaging. Inspect for any signs of damage during transit.
  2. Placement: Position the jack on a flat, stable, and non-slip surface in your work area. Ensure there is ample space around the jack and the equipment to be lifted.
  3. Initial Check: Before first use, ensure all bolts and connections are secure.

5. Operating Instructions

Follow these steps to safely operate your COSTWAY Lawn Mower Jack:

  1. Prepare the Equipment: Ensure the engine of your lawn mower or tractor is turned off and cooled down. Disconnect the spark plug wire to prevent accidental starting. Engage the parking brake if applicable.
  2. Position the Jack: Roll the equipment onto the jack's support arms. Ensure the equipment's wheels are securely seated within the jack's frame. The center of gravity of the equipment should be as balanced as possible over the jack.
  3. Secure the Equipment: If your equipment has tie-down points, consider using straps to further secure it to the jack, especially for heavier items or when working at higher angles.
  4. Raise the Equipment: Use the crank handle to slowly raise the equipment to the desired height. The height can be adjusted from 11.5 cm to 77 cm. The jack also allows for an inclination angle of up to 50 degrees. Turn the crank clockwise to raise and counter-clockwise to lower.
  5. Add Support (Crucial): Once the equipment is at the desired height, always place additional safety stands or sturdy blocks underneath the equipment for added support. Never rely solely on the jack for support when working underneath.
  6. Perform Maintenance: With the equipment securely supported, you can now safely perform maintenance tasks such as blade sharpening, deck cleaning, or tire repair.
  7. Lower the Equipment: After completing your work, remove any additional support stands. Slowly turn the crank handle counter-clockwise to lower the equipment back to the ground. Ensure a controlled descent.
  8. Remove Equipment: Once fully lowered, carefully roll the equipment off the jack.

Proper maintenance will ensure the longevity and safe operation of your COSTWAY Lawn Mower Jack.

  • Cleaning: After each use, wipe down the jack with a clean cloth to remove dirt, grease, and debris. The anti-rust finish helps protect the steel, but regular cleaning is recommended.
  • Lubrication: Periodically apply a light lubricant to the screw mechanism and pivot points to ensure smooth operation.
  • Inspection: Regularly check for any signs of wear, damage, or loose fasteners. Pay close attention to welds, the crank mechanism, and the support arms. If any damage is found, do not use the jack until it has been repaired or replaced.
  • Storage: When not in use, fold the jack compactly for convenient storage. Store it in a dry, protected area away from extreme temperatures and moisture to prevent rust and corrosion.
