Setup Instructions
Before first use, ensure all components are present and the battery is fully charged. Refer to the detailed user manual PDF for comprehensive assembly and safety instructions.
- Charge the Battery: Connect the V20* Lithium Ion Charger to a power outlet and insert the 4.0 Ah Lithium Ion Battery. Allow the battery to fully charge before initial operation.
- Assemble the Pole Saw: Securely attach the pole chainsaw head to the extension pole. Ensure all connections are tight and locked into place according to the manual's diagrams.
- Lubricate the Chain: The pole saw features a manual oiling system. Before each use, apply bar and chain oil (not included, but an empty bottle is provided) to the chain and bar to ensure smooth operation and prolong chain life.
- Install the Battery: Once charged, slide the battery pack into the designated slot on the pole saw handle until it clicks securely into place.
Operating the Pole Saw
Operate the pole saw with caution and always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including eye protection, gloves, and sturdy footwear.
- Extending Reach: The extension pole allows for an overhead reach of up to 14 feet. Adjust the pole length as needed for the task, ensuring it is securely locked before operation.
- Angled Head and Blade: The saw features an angled head and blade for cutting precision, allowing for easier access to branches.
