3. Setup
3.1 Attaching the Tripod
- Unfold the legs of the tabletop tripod.
- Locate the tripod mounting screw on the top of the tripod head.
- Align the tripod mounting hole on the bottom of the spotting scope with the tripod screw.
- Carefully screw the scope onto the tripod until it is securely fastened. Do not overtighten.
3.2 Attaching the Smartphone Adapter
- Ensure the eyepiece cover is removed from the spotting scope.
- Adjust the eyecup of the spotting scope to its lowest position (fully retracted).
- Secure your smartphone into the phone holder clamp. Ensure the phone's camera lens is aligned with the adapter's central opening.
- Carefully slide the adapter's ring over the spotting scope's eyepiece.
- Tighten the adapter's locking mechanism to secure it firmly to the eyepiece. Ensure the phone's camera is centered over the eyepiece for optimal viewing.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Adjusting Magnification (Zoom)
The spotting scope features a variable 20x to 60x magnification. To adjust the zoom:
- Rotate the zoom ring located on the eyepiece.
- Turn clockwise to increase magnification (zoom in) and counter-clockwise to decrease magnification (zoom out).

4.2 Focusing
The dynamic focusing mechanism allows for precise image clarity:
- Look through the eyepiece.
- Rotate the focus knob (typically located on the side of the scope body) until the image appears sharp and clear.
4.3 Eyecup Adjustment
The adjustable eyecup provides comfortable viewing for users with or without eyeglasses:
- For users without eyeglasses: Extend the eyecup by twisting or pulling it up.
- For users with eyeglasses: Retract the eyecup by twisting or pushing it down to allow your eyeglasses to be closer to the lens.
4.4 Retractable Sun Shade
To reduce glare and protect the objective lens from rain or dust, extend the retractable sun shade located at the front of the objective lens.

5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning the Lenses
Use the provided cleaning cloth or a soft, lint-free cloth to gently wipe the lens surfaces. For stubborn smudges, use a lens cleaning solution specifically designed for optics. Avoid using abrasive materials or excessive force, as this can scratch the lens coatings.
5.2 Storage
When not in use, store the spotting scope in its carrying bag in a cool, dry place. Ensure all lens and eyepiece covers are in place to protect against dust and scratches.
5.3 Waterproof and Fog-Proof Features

6.2 Unstable View
- Ensure the spotting scope is securely mounted to the tripod.
- Place the tripod on a stable, flat surface.
