Setup

Powering the Boombox

The boombox can be powered by AC power or batteries.

AC Power Operation:

  1. Ensure the boombox is switched off.
  2. Connect the supplied AC power cord to the AC IN jack on the back of the unit.
  3. Plug the other end of the AC power cord into a standard wall outlet (AC 120V ~ 60Hz).

Battery Operation:

  1. Ensure the boombox is switched off and disconnected from AC power.
  2. Open the battery compartment cover on the bottom of the unit.
  3. Insert 6 x 'C' size batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

Operating Instructions

CD Player Operation

  1. Press the Power button to turn on the boombox.
  2. Press the FUNC button repeatedly until 'CD' mode is selected.
  3. Open the CD compartment cover by gently lifting it.
  4. Place a CD (CD, CD-R/RW, MP3 CD, or audiobook CD) onto the center spindle with the label side facing up.
  5. Close the CD compartment cover. The boombox will read the disc, and the track number will appear on the LED display.
  6. Press the Play/Pause button to start playback.
  7. Use the B-Skip and F-Skip buttons to navigate between tracks.
  8. Press the REP/RAND/STOP/PROG button to cycle through repeat modes (repeat one, repeat all) or random playback. Press and hold to stop playback.

AM/FM Radio Operation

  1. Press the Power button to turn on the boombox.
  2. Press the FUNC button repeatedly until 'FM' or 'AM' mode is selected.
  3. For FM reception, extend the FM antenna for best signal. For AM reception, rotate the unit for best signal.
  4. Use the Tuning Knob to manually tune to your desired radio station.

Bluetooth Streaming

  1. Press the Power button to turn on the boombox.
  2. Press the FUNC button repeatedly until 'BT' (Bluetooth) mode is selected. The LED display will show 'BT' and flash, indicating it's in pairing mode.
  3. On your Bluetooth-enabled device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  4. Select 'SINGING WOOD' from the list of devices. Once paired, the 'BT' indicator on the boombox will stop flashing and remain solid.
  5. You can now stream audio from your device to the boombox. Use your device's controls for track navigation and volume, or the boombox's volume knob.

USB Playback

  1. Press the Power button to turn on the boombox.
  2. Insert a USB flash drive (FAT32 format, up to 128 GB) into the USB port.
  3. Press the FUNC button repeatedly until 'USB' mode is selected. The boombox will automatically detect and begin playing MP3/WMA files from the USB drive.
  4. Use the Play/Pause, B-Skip, F-Skip, and REP/RAND/STOP/PROG buttons to control playback.

Auxiliary Input (AUX)

  1. Press the Power button to turn on the boombox.
  2. Connect one end of a 3.5mm audio cable (not included) to the AUX In jack on the boombox.
  3. Connect the other end of the audio cable to the headphone jack or audio output of your external device (e.g., MP3 player, smartphone).
  4. Press the FUNC button repeatedly until 'AUX' mode is selected.
  5. Start playback on your external device. Adjust volume using both the external device and the boombox's volume knob.

Headphone Jack

  1. Plug your 3.5mm headphones into the Headphone Jack on the front of the boombox.
  2. Audio will automatically switch from the speakers to your headphones.
