Introduction

This manual provides instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your Commercial Electric 5/6-inch Integrated LED Recessed Trim. This product is designed to upgrade existing 5 and 6-inch can lights with energy-efficient LED technology and offers adjustable color temperature settings.

Setup and Installation

The LED recessed trim is designed for easy installation into existing 5-inch or 6-inch recessed housings. A medium (E26) socket base adapter is included for direct connection.

1. Prepare the Existing Fixture: Disconnect power at the circuit breaker. Carefully remove the existing light bulb and trim from your recessed can. If your existing can has spring-loaded clips, you may need to remove them.
2. Connect the Adapter: Screw the provided E26 socket base adapter into the existing light socket within the recessed can.
3. Attach the LED Trim: Connect the wire from the E26 adapter to the corresponding connector on the back of the LED recessed trim. Ensure a secure connection.
4. Select Color Temperature: Before inserting the trim into the ceiling, use the integrated switch on the back of the LED trim to select your desired color temperature (see "Operating Instructions" for details).
5. Secure the Trim: Gently push the LED recessed trim into the can opening. The spring-loaded clips on the sides of the trim will secure it in place. Ensure the trim sits flush with the ceiling.
6. Restore Power: Once installation is complete, restore power at the circuit breaker.

Operating Instructions

Color Temperature Selection (CCT)

The LED recessed trim features an integrated switch on the back that allows you to select from five different color temperatures:

• Warm White (2700K): A soft, yellowish light, similar to traditional incandescent bulbs.
• Soft White (3000K): A slightly whiter light than warm white, still with a warm tone.
• Neutral White (3500K): A balanced white light, often used in offices or kitchens.
• Bright White (4000K): A cooler, more energetic white light.
• Daylight (5000K): A very cool, bluish-white light, mimicking natural daylight.

To change the color temperature, locate the switch on the back of the trim (refer to Figure 2) and slide it to your desired setting. It is recommended to select the color temperature before fully installing the trim into the ceiling.

Dimming Functionality

This LED recessed trim is fully dimmable. Ensure you use a compatible dimmer switch for optimal performance. Refer to your dimmer switch's instructions for proper operation.

Maintenance

The Commercial Electric Integrated LED Recessed Trim is designed to be maintenance-free. It features integrated LED technology, meaning no bulbs need to be replaced. The estimated lifetime is 50,000 hours, or approximately 34 years under typical usage conditions.

To clean the trim, ensure power is disconnected and gently wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
