5. Setup
5.1. Battery Installation
- Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the device.
- Insert the 4 AAA 1.5V batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.

- Locate the air tube connector on the cuff.
- Insert the air tube connector firmly into the air jack on the side of the main unit.

- The bottom edge of the cuff should be approximately 2-3 cm above your elbow joint.

- Select your user profile (User 1 or User 2) if applicable.
- Press the START/STOP button to begin the measurement. The cuff will inflate automatically.
- Remain still and quiet until the measurement is complete and the cuff deflates.
- Your systolic (SYS), diastolic (DIA) blood pressure, and pulse (PUL) readings will be displayed on the screen.
- The device will also indicate if an irregular heartbeat (arrhythmia) was detected during the measurement.
- The measurement will automatically be stored in the selected user's memory.

Press the "Memory" button (often indicated by an 'M' or a book icon) to scroll through previously stored measurements for the active user. You can view individual readings, as well as morning and evening averages.
