5. Setup and Installation

Important: Before installation, ensure you have identified the correct wall type and have all necessary tools. Two people are recommended for safe installation.

5.1 Attaching TV Brackets to Your TV

  1. Carefully place your TV face down on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratches.
  2. Identify the VESA mounting holes on the back of your TV.
  3. Select the appropriate screws, washers, and spacers from the hardware kit that fit your TV's VESA holes. Ensure the screws are not too long, which could damage internal components, or too short, which would not provide a secure hold.
  4. Attach the two vertical TV bracket arms to the back of your TV using the selected hardware. Ensure the arms are centered and securely tightened. Do not overtighten.

5.2 Mounting the Wall Plate to the Wall

  1. Locate Wall Studs (for wood stud walls): Use a stud finder to locate the edges and center of a wood stud. Mark the center of the stud at your desired TV height.
  2. Mark Drilling Locations: Hold the wall plate assembly against the wall at the desired height and position. Use the integrated spirit level to ensure it is perfectly horizontal. Mark the drilling points through the holes on the wall plate.
  3. Drill Pilot Holes:
    • For Wood Studs: Drill pilot holes using a 3mm (1/8") drill bit to a depth of 80mm.
    • For Concrete/Brick Walls: Drill pilot holes using a 10mm (3/8") drill bit to a depth of 80mm. Insert the concrete anchors into the drilled holes. Tap gently with a hammer if needed until flush with the wall surface.
  4. Attach Wall Plate: Align the wall plate with the drilled holes. Secure the wall plate to the wall using the lag bolts and washers provided. Tighten firmly with the included wrench, but do not overtighten.

5.3 Hanging the TV on the Wall Mount

  1. With assistance, carefully lift the TV (with the attached TV brackets) and hook the TV brackets onto the wall plate.
  2. Ensure the TV is securely seated on the wall plate.
  3. Tighten the safety screws or locking mechanisms on the TV brackets to prevent accidental dislodging.

6. Operating and Adjustments

6.1 Level Adjustment

If your TV is not perfectly level after installation:

  1. Loosen the two 'TV Leveling Bolts' located on the TV plate (indicated by arrows).
  2. Gently adjust the TV by hand until it is level.
  3. Retighten the 'TV Leveling Bolts' to secure the TV's position.

6.2 Tilt Adjustment

To adjust the vertical tilt angle of your TV:

  1. Loosen the knob(s) on the TV plate that control the vertical angle.
  2. Adjust the TV to your desired tilt.
  3. Tighten the knob(s) to lock the tilt angle in place.

6.3 Swivel and Extension

This full motion mount allows for easy swivel and extension. Simply grasp the sides of your TV and gently pull it away from the wall or swivel it to the desired viewing angle. The articulating arms will move smoothly. Ensure cables are not pinched or strained during movement.

7. Maintenance

  • Periodically check all screws and connections to ensure they remain tight and secure.
  • Clean the mount with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Ensure cables are properly managed and not interfering with the mount's movement. Use the provided cable ties to keep cables tidy.

8. Troubleshooting

  • TV Not Level: Refer to Section 6.1 for level adjustment instructions. Ensure wall plate is level during initial installation.
  • Difficulty Moving Mount: Check for any obstructions or overtightened bolts on the articulating arms. Loosen slightly if necessary, but ensure stability.
  • Mount Feels Unstable: Immediately remove the TV from the mount. Recheck all wall mounting screws and TV bracket screws for proper tightening and ensure the wall type is appropriate and studs were correctly located.
  • Missing Parts: If any parts are missing or damaged, contact EVERSTONE customer support for assistance.
