Setup

Charging the Battery

1. Connect the provided power adapter to the DC 5V input port on the rear of the radio.
2. Plug the adapter into a standard wall outlet.
3. The charging indicator (if available on display) will show charging status. A full charge takes approximately 30 minutes and provides up to 4 hours of standby time.

Initial Power On

1. Press and hold the SOURCE/ button to power on the radio.
2. The display will light up, and the radio will typically start in the last used mode.

Antenna Adjustment

For optimal radio reception (DAB and FM), fully extend the telescopic antenna located on the rear of the unit. Adjust its position for the best signal clarity.

Operating Instructions

Power On/Off

Press and hold the SOURCE/ button to turn the radio on or off.

Volume Control

Rotate the VOLUME knob clockwise to increase volume and counter-clockwise to decrease volume.

Mode Selection

Press the SOURCE/ button repeatedly to cycle through the available modes: DAB, FM, Bluetooth, USB, and AUX.

DAB Radio Operation

1. Switch to DAB mode using the SOURCE/ button.
2. Press the /SCAN button to initiate an automatic scan for DAB stations. The radio will scan and store all available stations.
3. Once scanning is complete, use the / buttons to navigate through the list of available stations.
4. To save a station as a preset: Tune to the desired station, press and hold the PRESET button, use the / buttons to select a preset number, and press TIMER/ENTER to confirm.

FM Radio Operation

1. Switch to FM mode using the SOURCE/ button.
2. Press the /SCAN button to perform an automatic scan for FM stations. The radio will scan and store all available stations.
3. Alternatively, rotate the SEARCH knob to manually tune to a specific frequency.
4. Use the / buttons for fine-tuning or to jump between strong signals.
5. To save a station as a preset: Tune to the desired station, press and hold the PRESET button, use the / buttons to select a preset number, and press TIMER/ENTER to confirm.

Bluetooth Mode

1. Switch to Bluetooth mode using the SOURCE/ button. The display will show "Bluetooth Pairing" or similar.
2. Enable Bluetooth on your mobile device (smartphone, tablet, etc.) and search for available devices.
3. Select "dl R1051" (or similar name) from the list of devices to pair.
4. Once paired, you can play audio from your device through the radio. Use the radio's / buttons to control playback (play/pause, skip tracks).

USB Playback

1. Insert a USB flash drive into the USB port on the front panel.
2. Switch to USB mode using the SOURCE/ button. The radio will automatically detect and begin playing supported audio files (MP3, WAV, MP4).
3. Use the / buttons to navigate between tracks.
4. Note: The radio may not support reading files from folders on the USB drive. Ensure audio files are in the root directory for best compatibility. Track details may not be displayed.

AUX Input

1. Connect an external audio device (e.g., MP3 player, smartphone) to the AUX IN port on the rear of the radio using a 3.5mm audio cable (not included).
2. Switch to AUX mode using the SOURCE/ button.
3. Audio from the connected device will now play through the radio. Control playback from your external device.

Setting Alarm Clock

The radio supports dual alarms. Refer to the on-screen menu for detailed alarm setup.

1. Press the MENU button to enter the system menu.
2. Navigate using the / buttons to find the "Alarm" or "Clock" settings.
3. Press TIMER/ENTER to select.
4. Follow the on-screen prompts to set alarm time, alarm source (DAB/FM/USB/BT/AUX/Buzzer), and alarm frequency (daily, once, weekends, weekdays).
5. To snooze an active alarm, press the /SCAN button.

Setting Timer Function (Sleep Timer)

1. Press the TIMER/ENTER button (short press) to access the sleep timer settings.
2. Use the / buttons to select the desired sleep timer duration (e.g., 15, 30, 60, 90 minutes, or OFF).
3. Press TIMER/ENTER to confirm. The radio will automatically turn off after the selected duration.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the radio's surface. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the radio in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
• Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Charge the radio regularly, even if not in constant use.
• Antenna: Handle the telescopic antenna carefully to prevent damage. Retract it when not in use.
