Setup

  1. Inspect the Air Chuck: Before first use, visually inspect both air chucks for any signs of damage or manufacturing defects. Ensure the threads are clean and free of debris.
  2. Prepare Your Inflator/Gauge: Ensure your tire inflator or pressure gauge has a standard 1/4" NPT male fitting.
  3. Attach the Air Chuck: Screw the GODESON Air Chuck onto the 1/4" NPT male fitting of your inflator or gauge. Tighten securely by hand. For a better seal, especially if you experience any air leakage, you may use PTFE (Teflon) tape on the threads of your inflator's fitting before attaching the chuck.

Operating Instructions

  1. Prepare the Tire Valve: Remove the dust cap from the tire valve stem.
  2. Attach to Valve Stem: Align the threaded end of the GODESON Air Chuck with the tire valve stem. Twist the chuck clockwise onto the valve stem until it is securely tightened. The twist-on design ensures a firm grip and prevents air loss during inflation.
  3. Inflate Tire: Once the chuck is securely attached, proceed with inflating the tire using your connected air compressor or checking pressure with your gauge.
  4. Remove Air Chuck: After inflation or pressure check, twist the air chuck counter-clockwise to remove it from the valve stem. A small amount of air may escape during removal; this is normal. Replace the dust cap on the tire valve stem.

Other Applications

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the air chuck with a clean, dry cloth after each use to remove dirt and debris. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.

  • Thread Inspection: Periodically check the threads for wear or damage. If threads appear worn, the chuck may not provide a secure seal and should be replaced.
