3. Setup and Installation

Follow these steps to properly install your BT-S2 headset on your helmet:

  1. Install the Clip: Attach the headset clip to the side of your helmet. Ensure it is securely positioned.
  2. Secure with Screw Lock: Use the provided screw lock clip to firmly secure the main unit's mounting bracket to the helmet.
  3. Prepare Helmet Lining: Carefully remove the helmet's inner lining to access the ear pockets.
  4. Mount Microphone and Speakers: Use the 3M adhesive pads to fix the microphone and ear speakers inside the helmet's lining, ensuring the speakers are positioned directly over your ears for optimal sound.
  5. Fix Microphone: Ensure the microphone boom is positioned correctly for clear voice pickup, typically near your mouth.
  6. Secure Earphones: Use the magic stickers to firmly fix the left and right earphones in place.
  7. Connect to Host: Insert the speaker/microphone cable into the Type-C interface socket on the main headset unit.

4.1 Controls Overview

  • Power On/Off: Press and hold the Power/Intercom Button.
  • Volume Adjustment: Use the Volume +/- buttons to increase or decrease the audio level.
  • Phone Calls: Press the Phone Button to answer or reject incoming calls. Long press to redial the last call. The headset supports automatic answering of incoming calls.
  • Music Playback: Control music playback (play, pause, next/previous track) using the dedicated buttons.
