4. Setup and Installation

4.1 Pre-Installation

1. Turn off power: Locate the circuit breaker or fuse box and turn off the power to the junction box where the fixture will be installed.
2. Unpack: Carefully remove all contents from the carton.

4.2 Assembly and Mounting

The Morden Fort White Beaded Chandelier is designed for ceiling installation. It can be hard-wired or converted to a plug-in fixture with an additional plug (not provided) under professional guidance.

1. Attach Mounting Plate: Secure the mounting plate to the ceiling junction box using the provided screws. Ensure it is firmly attached to a structural ceiling component.
2. Adjust Hanging Height: The chandelier's hanging height can be adjusted from a minimum of 26.75 inches to a maximum of 99.75 inches. Adjust the chain length as desired before wiring.
3. Wire Connections: Connect the fixture's electrical wires to the corresponding wires from the junction box (typically black to black, white to white, and ground to ground). Use approved wire connectors and secure connections with electrical tape.
4. Secure Canopy: Carefully push the canopy up to the ceiling, covering the junction box, and secure it with the provided screws or nuts.
5. Install Bulbs: Insert five (5) E12 base, max 60W Type B light bulbs (not included) into the sockets. Ensure bulbs are securely seated.

5. Operating Instructions

Once installed and bulbs are in place, your Morden Fort Chandelier is ready for operation.

• Power On: Restore power at the circuit breaker.
• Control: The chandelier is operated via a standard wall switch or compatible touch control system (not included).
• Bulb Type: Uses 5 E12 base, max 60W Type B light bulbs.
• Voltage: Designed for 110-120 V electrical systems.
• Non-Dimmable: This fixture is not dimmable. Do not use with dimmer switches, as this may damage the fixture or bulbs.

• Bulb Replacement: Ensure power is off and bulbs are cool before replacing. Use only E12 base, max 60W Type B bulbs.
