Setup

1. Battery Installation

  1. Open the battery compartment cover on the bottom of the camera.
  2. Insert the Lithium Ion battery, ensuring the correct polarity.
  3. Close the battery compartment cover securely.
  4. Charge the battery fully before first use using the provided USB cable.

2. Memory Card Insertion

A MicroSD card (not included) is required for recording. The camera supports up to 32GB.

  1. Locate the MicroSD card slot on the side of the camera.
  2. Insert the MicroSD card with the gold contacts facing the front of the camera until it clicks into place.
  3. To remove, gently push the card until it springs out.

3. Using the Waterproof Housing

The included housing allows the camera to be submerged up to 30 meters (98 feet).

  1. Ensure the camera is dry and clean before placing it inside the housing.
  2. Open the latch on top of the housing and carefully place the camera inside.
  3. Close the latch firmly to ensure a watertight seal.
  4. For humid conditions or winter sports, use the rear cover with an opening to prevent fogging.

Operating Instructions

Power On/Off

  • Power On: Press and hold the Power/Mode button on the front of the camera.
  • Power Off: Press and hold the Power/Mode button again.

Mode Selection

Press the Power/Mode button repeatedly to cycle through different modes:

  • Video Recording Mode: Indicated by a video camera icon.
  • Photo Mode: Indicated by a camera icon.
  • Playback Mode: Indicated by a play icon.
  • Settings Mode: Indicated by a gear icon.

Video Recording

  • Switch to Video Recording Mode.
  • Press the OK/Shutter button on top of the camera to start recording. A red dot will flash on the screen.
  • Press the OK/Shutter button again to stop recording.
  • Video Resolution: 1080p (30fps) and 720p (30fps).

Taking Photos

  • Switch to Photo Mode.
  • Press the OK/Shutter button to take a photo.
  • Image Resolution: 12 MP (4000x3000), 8 MP (3264x2448), 5 MP (2560x1920), and 2 MP (1920x1080).

Wi-Fi Connectivity

The camera features Wi-Fi for remote control via a smartphone application.

  1. Download the compatible app (refer to the camera's on-screen instructions or packaging for app name).
  2. Turn on Wi-Fi on the camera via the settings menu.
  3. On your smartphone, connect to the camera's Wi-Fi network (SSID and password will be displayed on the camera screen).
  4. Once connected, you can control the camera, view live footage, and transfer files directly from your phone.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning the Lens: Use a soft, lint-free cloth specifically designed for camera lenses. Avoid abrasive materials.
  • Cleaning the Camera Body: Wipe with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use strong detergents or solvents.
  • Waterproof Housing: After use in water, rinse the housing with fresh water and allow it to air dry. Inspect the O-ring seal for any debris or damage before each use.
  • Storage: Store the camera in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Remove the battery if storing for extended periods.

Troubleshooting

ProblemPossible Solution
Camera does not power on.Ensure the battery is fully charged and correctly inserted. Try charging the camera.
Cannot record video/take photos.Check if a MicroSD card is inserted and has sufficient free space. Ensure the card is formatted correctly (FAT32).
Wi-Fi connection issues.Ensure Wi-Fi is enabled on the camera and your smartphone. Restart both devices. Verify the correct app is installed.
Poor image/video quality.Clean the camera lens. Ensure adequate lighting. Check resolution settings.
Water leakage in housing.Inspect the O-ring seal for dirt, hair, or damage. Ensure the housing latch is securely closed. Do not exceed the maximum depth rating.
