To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not remove the cover. No user-serviceable parts inside. Refer servicing to qualified service personnel. Always follow basic safety precautions when using electrical products.

4. Setup

4.1 Speaker Placement

For optimal sound projection, it is recommended to mount the speakers on the included stands. Ensure the stands are placed on a stable, level surface to prevent tipping.

  • Extend the legs of the speaker stands fully for maximum stability.
  • Carefully lift each speaker and place it onto the 35mm pole mount on top of the stand. Ensure it is securely seated.

4.2 Connecting the Speakers

The system includes one active speaker (with the control panel) and one passive speaker. They must be connected for the passive speaker to function.

  • Locate the SpeakOn output on the active speaker's rear panel.
  • Connect one end of the included speaker connection cable to the SpeakOn output on the active speaker.
  • Connect the other end of the cable to the SpeakOn input on the passive speaker.

4.3 Power Connection

Ensure the power switch on the active speaker is in the OFF position before connecting to power.

  • Connect the power cable to the AC input on the active speaker's rear panel.
  • Plug the other end of the power cable into a standard wall outlet (AC 120V/240V, 50/60Hz).

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Control Panel Overview

The active speaker features a comprehensive control panel on its rear. Familiarize yourself with the following controls:

  • MP3 Control Digital Display: Shows current mode (USB/SD/Bluetooth/AUX) and track information.
  • Mode Button: Switches between input modes (Bluetooth, USB, SD, AUX).
  • Play/Pause, Previous/Next Buttons: For media playback control.
  • Scan Button: For radio tuning (if applicable).
  • MIC VOL: Adjusts the volume of the microphone input.
  • BASS: Adjusts the low-frequency output.
  • TREBLE: Adjusts the high-frequency output.
  • MASTER VOL: Controls the overall output volume of the system.
  • MIC Input (XLR): For connecting a wired microphone.
  • LINE IN (AUX 3.5mm): For connecting external audio devices via a 3.5mm cable.

5.2 Bluetooth Connectivity

To stream audio wirelessly from your Bluetooth-enabled device:

  • Turn on the PA system.
  • Press the 'Mode' button on the control panel until 'BLUE' appears on the digital display, indicating Bluetooth mode.
  • On your smartphone, tablet, or computer, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  • Select 'PYLEUSA' or a similar name from the list of devices.
  • Once paired, you can play audio from your device, and it will stream through the PA system.

5.3 USB/SD Playback

The system supports MP3 audio playback from USB flash drives and SD memory cards.

  • Insert your USB flash drive into the USB port or your SD card into the SD card slot.
  • The system should automatically switch to USB or SD mode. If not, press the 'Mode' button until the correct mode is displayed.
  • Use the Play/Pause, Previous, and Next buttons to control playback.

5.4 AUX Input
