Important Safeguards
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:

- Do not attempt to dislodge food when toaster is plugged in.
- Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cord into the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn any control to “off”, then remove plug from wall outlet.

Setup
Before First Use
- Unpack the toaster and remove all packaging materials.
- Wipe the exterior of the toaster with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the toaster in water.
- Ensure the crumb tray is properly inserted.
- For the first use, operate the toaster without bread for 2-3 cycles at the highest setting (6) to burn off any manufacturing residues. A slight odor or smoke may be present; this is normal and will dissipate.
- Allow the toaster to cool completely between cycles.
Operating Instructions
Basic Toasting
- Place up to four slices of bread, bagels, or other items into the toasting slots.
- Select your desired browning level using the Toast Shade Selector dial (settings 1-6).
- Press the carriage lever down until it locks into place. The toasting cycle will begin.
- Once the desired browning is achieved, the toast will automatically pop up.
- To stop the toasting cycle at any time, press the CANCEL/EJECT button.
Using Reheat Function
The Reheat function allows you to warm up already toasted bread without further browning.
- Place the previously toasted item into the slots.
- Press the carriage lever down.
- Press the REHEAT button. The indicator light will illuminate.
- The toaster will complete a short reheating cycle and automatically pop up.
Using Defrost Function
The Defrost function is ideal for toasting frozen bread, bagels, or waffles.
- Place the frozen item into the slots.
- Select your desired browning level using the Toast Shade Selector dial.
- Press the carriage lever down.
- Press the DEFROST button. The indicator light will illuminate.
- The toaster will automatically adjust the toasting time to defrost and toast the item.
Using the Warming Rack
The built-in warming rack is perfect for gently warming croissants, buns, or other pastries.
- Flip up the warming rack located on top of the toaster.
- Place the items to be warmed on the rack.
- Set the Toast Shade Selector dial to a low setting (e.g., 1 or 2).
- Press the carriage lever down.
- Monitor the items closely to prevent over-warming or burning.
- Once warmed, lift the carriage lever to release, or press the CANCEL/EJECT button.
- Flip the warming rack back down when not in use.
Toast Shade Settings
The toaster features 6 adjustable browning levels to suit individual preferences:
- Setting 1-2: Light toast, gently warmed.
- Setting 3-4: Medium toast, golden brown.
- Setting 5-6: Dark toast, crispy and well-browned.

Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your toaster.
Cleaning the Crumb Tray
- Always unplug the toaster and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Pull out the slide-out crumb tray located at the bottom of the toaster.
- Discard accumulated crumbs.
- Wipe the crumb tray with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
- Slide the crumb tray back into place until it locks securely.

Cleaning the Exterior
- Ensure the toaster is unplugged and cool.
- Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners or metal scouring pads, as they may scratch the surface.
- Dry thoroughly with a soft, dry cloth.
