4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Power On/Off

The cabinet powers on automatically when connected to an electrical outlet. To power off, disconnect the power cord from the outlet.

4.2. Humidity Control

The HINISO AD-30S features a digital control panel to set and monitor the internal humidity level. The recommended humidity range for most sensitive electronics and optical equipment is between 25% and 60%.

  • Monitoring: The digital display shows the current temperature and humidity inside the cabinet.
  • Adjusting: Use the control buttons (refer to the specific markings on your unit, typically '+' and '-' or a dial) to set your desired humidity level. The cabinet will automatically work to maintain this level.
  • Stabilization: It may take several hours for the humidity to reach the set point, especially after loading new items or opening the door frequently.

4.3. UV Sterilization

This cabinet is equipped with an inbuilt UV light system designed to sterilize contents, helping to eliminate fungus, mold spores, and bacteria. This feature is crucial for maintaining the integrity of camera lenses and other electronics.

  • Activation: Refer to the control panel for the UV sterilization button or switch. Activate it periodically as needed.
  • Duration: Follow recommended usage times if specified on the unit or in supplementary documentation.

4.4. Loading Items

Arrange items inside the cabinet to allow for proper air circulation. Utilize the adjustable shelves to accommodate items of various sizes. Avoid overcrowding the cabinet.

5. Maintenance

5.1. Cleaning

  • Exterior: Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Interior: Periodically clean the interior with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Ensure the cabinet is unplugged before cleaning.
  • Glass Door: Use a glass cleaner on the tempered glass door.

5.2. Door Seal

Regularly inspect the door seal for any signs of wear or damage. A compromised seal can affect the cabinet's ability to maintain the desired humidity level.

6. Troubleshooting

  • Cabinet Not Powering On:
    • Check if the power cord is securely plugged into both the cabinet and the electrical outlet.
    • Verify that the electrical outlet is functional by plugging in another device.
  • Humidity Not Changing/Stabilizing:
    • Ensure the door is fully closed and the seal is intact.
    • Avoid frequent opening of the door, as this allows external humidity to enter.
    • Allow sufficient time (several hours) for the humidity level to adjust, especially in very humid environments or after initial setup.
    • Ensure the cabinet is not overloaded, which can hinder air circulation.
  • Digital Display Malfunction:
    • Try unplugging the cabinet for a few minutes and then plugging it back in to reset the display.
    • If the issue persists, contact customer support.
