1. Introduction

2. Important Safety Instructions

Always follow basic safety precautions when using electrical appliances to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons.

  • Read all instructions before operating the appliance.
  • Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
  • To protect against electric shock, do not immerse cord, plugs, or the appliance in water or other liquid.

4. Setup

4.1 Unpacking and Placement

  • Remove all packaging materials.
  • Place the machine on a stable, level, and heat-resistant surface.
  • Ensure adequate ventilation around the machine.

4.2 Filling the Water Tank

  1. Remove the water tank from the back of the machine.
  2. Rinse the tank with fresh water.
  3. Fill the tank with fresh, cold drinking water up to the MAX mark.
  4. Place the water tank back into the machine securely.

4.3 Filling the Coffee Bean Hopper

  1. Open the lid of the coffee bean hopper on top of the machine.
  2. Pour fresh, whole coffee beans into the hopper. Do not overfill.
  3. Close the lid securely.

4.4 Initial Rinse Cycle

Before first use, perform an initial rinse cycle to clean the internal components.

  1. Ensure the water tank is filled and the drip tray is in place.
  2. Place a large container under the coffee spout.
  3. Plug the machine into a grounded power outlet.
  4. Press the power button to turn on the machine.
  5. The machine will automatically perform a rinse cycle. Follow any on-screen prompts if available.
  6. Discard the water collected in the container.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Making Espresso/Coffee

  1. Ensure the machine is powered on and the water tank is filled.
  2. Place a cup under the coffee spout.
  3. Select your desired coffee strength and volume using the control panel buttons.
  4. Press the coffee button to start brewing. The machine will grind beans, brew, and dispense coffee.
  5. The brewing process will stop automatically.

5.2 Adjusting Coffee Settings

  • Coffee Strength: Use the dedicated button on the control panel to cycle through different strength levels (e.g., mild, normal, strong).
  • Coffee Volume: Press and hold the coffee button until the desired volume is reached, then release. The machine will save this setting for future use.
  • Grind Fineness: The grind fineness can be adjusted inside the bean hopper. Turn the adjustment knob to a coarser or finer setting. Caution: Adjust grind fineness only when the grinder is operating.

6. Maintenance

Regular cleaning and maintenance ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your coffee machine.

6.1 Daily Cleaning

  • Drip Tray and Grounds Container: Empty and rinse daily.
  • Water Tank: Rinse daily and refill with fresh water.
  • Coffee Spout: Wipe with a damp cloth.

6.2 Cleaning the Brewing Unit

  1. Turn off and unplug the machine.
  2. Open the service door (usually on the side or front).
  3. Press the release buttons/tabs and carefully pull out the brewing unit.
  4. Rinse the brewing unit thoroughly under running water. Do not use detergents.
  5. Allow it to air dry completely before reinserting.

6.3 Descaling

The machine will indicate when descaling is required. Use a suitable descaling solution designed for coffee machines and follow the instructions provided with the descaler or the machine's display prompts.
