Setup
Battery Installation
The DICKIE TOYS Light & Sound Recycle Truck requires 2 AA batteries, which are included for immediate play. To install or replace batteries:
- Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the truck.
- Using a small Phillips head screwdriver, loosen the screw on the battery compartment cover.
- Remove the cover.
- Insert 2 new AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Replace the cover and tighten the screw.

Operating Instructions
Free-Wheeling Function
The recycle truck features a free-wheeling design, allowing it to be easily pushed and pulled across various surfaces for dynamic play.
Manual Lifting Recycling Bin
The included waste bin can be attached to the side mechanism of the truck. Manually lift the mechanism to simulate the bin being emptied into the truck's rear compartment.

Opening Tailgate
