3. Setup and Assembly

Assembly of the JURMERRY Bunk Bed Frame is designed to be straightforward. No special tools are needed as all necessary parts and tools are included. Please follow the steps carefully.

1. Unpack and Verify Parts: Lay out all components on a soft, clean surface. Refer to the included parts list to ensure all pieces are present and undamaged.

2. Assemble Headboard and Footboard Sections: Connect the horizontal bars (Part D) to the vertical posts (Parts A and B/C) using the designated screws. Ensure a secure fit.
3. Connect Headboard and Footboard: Attach the headboard (Part J) and footboard (Part K) to the main side rails.
4. Install Side Rails: Attach the long side rails (Parts H and I) to the assembled headboard and footboard sections. Secure them with the provided screws.
5. Attach Support Legs: Connect the central support legs (Part G) to the lower bed frame.
6. Install Slats: Insert the bed slats (Part L) into the designated holes on both the upper and lower bed frames. Ensure they are evenly spaced and securely seated.

7. Assemble and Attach Ladder: Assemble the ladder components (Parts N and O) using the specified screws. Once assembled, attach the ladder securely to the bunk bed frame.
8. Final Tightening: Once all parts are in place, go back and securely tighten all screws and bolts. Do not overtighten.

4. Operating Instructions

This bunk bed is designed for sleeping and resting. Adhere to the following guidelines for safe operation:

• Weight Capacity: Do not exceed the maximum weight capacity of 550 pounds for the entire bed.
• Upper Bunk Use: The upper bunk is not suitable for children under 6 years of age.
• Climbing: Always use the provided ladder for accessing the upper bunk. Do not jump on or off the bed.
