Setup
1. Charging the Battery
- Connect the USB charging cable to the USB charger block.
- Plug the charger block into a power outlet.
- Connect the other end of the USB cable to the charging port on your Galaxy M20.
- Allow the device to charge fully before first use. The device features a non-removable 5000 mAh Lithium Polymer battery with 15W fast charging capability.
2. Inserting a SIM Card
The Samsung Galaxy M20 supports GSM SIM cards. It will not work with CDMA carriers.
- Locate the SIM card tray on the left side of the device (refer to Figure 4).
- Insert the SIM ejection tool (not included, typically comes with the SIM card) into the small hole on the SIM tray to eject it.
- Place your Nano-SIM card(s) into the tray with the gold contacts facing down.
- Carefully reinsert the tray into the device.
3. Initial Power On and Configuration
- Press and hold the Power button (located on the right side) until the Samsung logo appears.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to select your language, connect to Wi-Fi, set up your Google account, and configure security features like fingerprint or face unlock.
