5.2 Descaling (Mineral Deposit Removal)
Mineral deposits (calcium and lime) can build up in your coffee maker and affect its performance. Descale regularly, depending on water hardness and frequency of use.
- Mix 2-4 tablespoons of white vinegar with a full carafe of water.
- Pour the mixture into the water reservoir.
- Place an empty filter (without coffee) in the filter basket and close the lid.

6. Troubleshooting
- Coffee not brewing: Ensure the coffee maker is plugged in, the "ON/OFF" button is pressed, and the water reservoir contains water. Check that the carafe is correctly placed on the warming plate.
- Weak coffee: Increase the amount of coffee grounds used, or select the "STRENGTH" setting for a bolder brew. Ensure the descaling process has been performed if mineral buildup is suspected.
- Coffee overflowing from filter basket: Do not overfill the filter basket with coffee grounds. Ensure the carafe is returned to the warming plate promptly after using the Drip Stop function. Clean the filter basket and shower head if clogged.
