- Connect Probes:
- Plug the temperature probe into the port labeled 'P-1'.
- Plug the humidity probe into the port labeled 'P-2'.
- Position the probes in the environment you wish to monitor and control. Ensure the humidity sensor is not exposed to direct water.
- Connect Equipment:
- Plug your heating/cooling equipment into the 'WORK1' outlet.
- Plug your humidifier/dehumidifier equipment into the 'WORK2' outlet.
- Ensure the total wattage of connected devices does not exceed 1800W.
- Power On: Plug the ITC-608T controller's power cord into a standard 120V AC electrical outlet. The display will illuminate, showing the current temperature (PV) and humidity (SV).
6. Operating Instructions
The ITC-608T offers flexible control modes and easy programming.
6.1. Setting Temperature and Humidity
- Access Settings: Press and hold the SET button for 3 seconds to enter the parameter setting mode. The display will show the first parameter code.
- Navigate Parameters: Use the ▲ (Up) or ▼ (Down) buttons to scroll through the parameter codes (e.g., TS for Temperature Setpoint, HS for Humidity Setpoint).
- Adjust Values: Once the desired parameter code is displayed, press SET again to view its current value. Use ▲ or ▼ to adjust the value.
- Confirm and Exit: Press SET to confirm the new value and move to the next parameter. To exit the setting mode, press and hold SET for 3 seconds, or wait 10 seconds for it to automatically exit.
6.2. Control Modes
The ITC-608T can operate in three main modes:
- Temperature Control Only: If only the temperature sensor is plugged in, the device will function as a temperature controller, managing heating and cooling equipment connected to WORK1.
- Humidity Control Only: If only the humidity sensor is plugged in, the device will function as a humidity controller, managing humidifier and dehumidifier equipment connected to WORK2.
- Temperature and Humidity Control: With both sensors plugged in, the device will simultaneously control both temperature (via WORK1) and humidity (via WORK2).
6.3. Unit Selection (Fahrenheit/Celsius)
The temperature display unit can be switched between Fahrenheit (°F) and Celsius (°C) through the settings menu. Refer to the detailed parameter list in the full PDF manual for the specific parameter code.
7. Calibration
The ITC-608T supports temperature and humidity calibration to ensure accuracy. If you notice discrepancies between the controller's readings and a known accurate reference, you can adjust the calibration offset in the settings. Consult the full PDF user manual for detailed instructions on calibration parameters.
8. Alarms
The controller features various alarm functions to alert you to critical conditions:
- High/Low Temperature Alarm: Triggers if the measured temperature exceeds or falls below the set high/low temperature alarm limits.
- High/Low Humidity Alarm: Triggers if the measured humidity exceeds or falls below the set high/low humidity alarm limits.
- Sensor Fault Alarm: Activates if a connected sensor is faulty or disconnected.
Alarm limits can be configured in the parameter settings. When an alarm is triggered, the display will show an error code and an audible alert may sound.
9. Maintenance
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and accuracy of your ITC-608T controller.
- Cleaning: Disconnect the power before cleaning. Wipe the controller unit with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Sensor Care: Keep the temperature and humidity probes clean. For the humidity sensor, regular cleaning (e.g., weekly in high humidity environments) can help maintain reading integrity. Avoid physical damage to the sensor tips.
- Storage: If storing the device for an extended period, disconnect all probes and power, and store in a cool, dry place.
