Operating Instructions (Brewing)
- Add Coffee Grounds: Place the assembled brewing container on a stable surface. Add your desired amount of coarse-ground coffee into the brewing container. For best results, use a coarse grind to prevent slow draining.
- Pour Water: Place the Rainmaker lid on top of the brewing container. Slowly pour cold, filtered water over the Rainmaker. The Rainmaker is designed to evenly distribute water over the coffee grounds, ensuring thorough saturation.
- Brewing: Allow the coffee to brew for 12 to 24 hours. You can brew on your countertop or in the refrigerator.
- Drain Concentrate: After brewing, remove the Rainmaker lid. Place the brewing container directly onto the borosilicate glass carafe. The draining process will begin automatically.
- Store Concentrate: Once draining is complete, remove the brewing container. Seal the glass carafe with the cork stopper to keep the coffee concentrate fresh. Store in the refrigerator.
- Serve: Dilute the cold brew concentrate with water, milk, or ice to your preference for hot or iced coffee.

Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning ensures the longevity and hygiene of your cold brew coffee maker.
- After Each Use: Disassemble all parts. Wash the brewing container, Rainmaker lid, glass carafe, cork stopper, and stainless steel mesh filter with warm, soapy water.
- Filter Cleaning: The stainless steel mesh filter is reusable and can be easily cleaned by rinsing under running water. For stubborn coffee oils, a soft brush may be used.
- Drying: Allow all components to air dry completely before reassembling or storing.
Storage
The brewing container and carafe are designed to nest for compact storage when not in use.

Troubleshooting
- Slow Draining: If the coffee concentrate drains slowly, it may be due to coffee grounds that are too fine. Ensure you are using coarse-ground coffee.
- Leaking: Verify that the red gasket is securely in place and that the brewing container and base are fully tightened with the markings aligned.
- Weak Concentrate: Ensure the recommended coffee-to-water ratio is used and that the brewing time is sufficient (12-24 hours).
