1. Introduction
This manual provides essential information for the proper setup, operation, and maintenance of your Sceptre Curved 24-inch Gaming Monitor, Model C248W-1920RN-314. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the product to ensure optimal performance and safety.

2. Safety Information
- Ensure the monitor is placed on a stable, flat surface to prevent accidental falls.
- Do not expose the monitor to rain, moisture, or extreme temperatures.
- Avoid blocking ventilation openings to prevent overheating.
- Use only the power adapter supplied with the monitor.
- Disconnect the power cable during lightning storms or when unused for long periods.
3. Package Contents

4. Setup
4.1 Assembling the Stand
- Carefully remove the monitor from its packaging.
- Attach the stand neck to the monitor panel.
- Secure the stand base to the stand neck using the provided screws.
4.2 Connecting the Monitor
Locate the input ports on the back of the monitor (Figure 4.1) and connect the necessary cables.

- Power: Connect the power adapter to the DC-IN port and then to a power outlet.
- Video Input: Connect an HDMI cable to one of the two HDMI 1.4 ports (up to 75 Hz) or a VGA cable to the VGA port (up to 75 Hz) on the monitor and to your computer's corresponding output port.
- Audio Input: Use the Audio In port to connect an audio source if using VGA.
- Audio Output: Use the Audio Out port to connect external speakers or headphones.
4.3 Mounting (Optional)
The monitor is VESA mount compatible. If you choose to wall-mount or use an alternative desk mount, ensure the mount supports the monitor's weight and VESA pattern. Remove the stand before attaching the VESA mount.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Powering On/Off
Press the power button located on the back of the monitor to turn it on or off. The power indicator light will illuminate when the monitor is on.
5.2 On-Screen Display (OSD) Menu
Use the buttons on the back of the monitor to navigate and adjust settings within the OSD menu. Common adjustments include:
- Picture Settings: Adjust brightness, contrast, sharpness, and color temperature.
- Input Select: Choose between HDMI1, HDMI2, or VGA input sources.
- Audio Settings: Control volume for the built-in speakers or connected audio devices.
- OSD Settings: Adjust OSD language, transparency, and timeout.
5.3 Refresh Rate
The monitor supports a 75Hz refresh rate. To ensure your system is utilizing this, check your computer's display settings. For Windows, navigate to Display Settings > Advanced display settings > Display adapter properties, and select the desired refresh rate.
5.4 Tilt Adjustment
The monitor can be tilted 15 degrees backward and 5 degrees forward. Gently adjust the monitor panel to your preferred viewing angle.

7. Maintenance
- Cleaning the Screen: Gently wipe the screen with a soft, lint-free cloth. For stubborn marks, use a screen-cleaning solution applied to the cloth, not directly to the screen.
- Cleaning the Casing: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the monitor's casing. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
- Storage: If storing the monitor for an extended period, place it in its original packaging in a cool, dry place.
8. Troubleshooting
- No Power: Ensure the power cable is securely connected to the monitor and a working power outlet. Check the power adapter for damage.
- No Signal: Verify that the video cable (HDMI or VGA) is correctly connected to both the monitor and your computer. Ensure the correct input source is selected via the OSD menu.
- No Sound: Check the monitor's volume settings and your computer's audio output settings. Ensure external speakers/headphones are properly connected to the Audio Out port if used.
- Picture Problems (e.g., blurry, distorted): Adjust resolution and refresh rate in your computer's display settings. Ensure the video cable is not damaged.
