The system supports both battery and USB-C power options.

4.2. Mounting the Motion Sensor

The motion sensor can be mounted on a wall or placed on a flat surface. For optimal detection, consider the following:

  • Detection Range: 2-8 meters (7-26 feet).
  • Detection Angle: 100° horizontal, 15° vertical.
  • Adjustability: Use the base support for 180° swivel and 360° rotation to aim the sensor precisely.
  1. Choose a suitable location where the sensor can cover the desired detection area.
  2. Use the provided screws and anchors to securely mount the sensor to a wall, or place it on a stable surface.
  3. Adjust the sensor's angle using its rotatable base to optimize detection.

7.1. Battery Replacement

When the batteries are low, the system may exhibit reduced performance or a low battery reminder. Replace batteries promptly:

  • Motion Sensor: 3 x AAA alkaline batteries.
  • Receiver: 3 x AA alkaline batteries.

Always use new, high-quality alkaline batteries for optimal performance and battery life (approximately 7 months).

7.2. Cleaning

Wipe the units with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse in water.

8. Troubleshooting

  • No detection/No sound:
    • Check if both sensor and receiver are powered on.
    • Ensure batteries are correctly installed and not depleted.
    • Verify the sensor's detection angle and range.
    • Check if the receiver is in a silent mode (Color Light or Lighting Mode).
    • Re-pair the sensor and receiver if they lose connection.
  • False alarms:
    • Adjust the sensor's position to avoid detecting pets, moving curtains, or direct sunlight/heat sources.
    • Ensure the sensor is not exposed to strong drafts or vibrations.
  • Short wireless range:
    • Ensure there are no major obstructions (thick walls, metal objects) between the sensor and receiver.
    • Move the receiver closer to the sensor.
    • Replace batteries in both units.
