Setup

1. Unpacking and Initial Setup

  1. Carefully remove the printer from its packaging.
  2. Remove all packing materials, including tape and cardboard inserts, from inside and outside the printer. Ensure no blue tape or protective films remain.
  3. Connect the power cord to the printer and then to a wall outlet.
  4. Turn on the printer by pressing the Power button.

2. Installing Ink Cartridges

  1. Open the ink cartridge access door.
  2. Wait for the print carriage to move to the center of the printer.

3. Loading Paper

  1. Raise the input tray.
  2. Slide the paper width guide to its outermost position.
  3. Load a stack of plain white paper into the input tray, print side down.
  4. Slide the paper width guide inward until it rests against the edge of the paper.
  5. Pull out the output tray extender.

4. Connecting to a Network (Wi-Fi)

  1. Ensure your wireless router is on and broadcasting.
  2. On the printer's control panel, press the Wireless button (wireless icon).
  3. If the wireless light is blinking, the printer is ready to connect.
  4. On your computer or mobile device, search for available Wi-Fi networks and select your printer's network (e.g., "HP-Print-xx-DeskJet 3755").
