Introduction

This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient operation of your SodaStream Spirit One Touch Sparkling Water Maker. Please read all instructions carefully before use and retain this manual for future reference.

The SodaStream Spirit One Touch is designed to transform plain tap water into sparkling water with the touch of a button, offering convenience and a customizable carbonation experience.

Safety Precautions

  • Do not place the appliance near heat sources.
  • Only use SodaStream carbonating bottles and CO2 cylinders.
  • Do not carbonate anything other than plain water.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • Ensure the appliance is placed on a flat, stable surface.
  • Unplug the appliance before cleaning or if not in use for extended periods.

Upon unpacking, ensure all items are present:

  • 1 x SodaStream Spirit One Touch Sparkling Water Maker
  • 1 x 1-Liter BPA-free Reusable Carbonating Bottle
  • 1 x 60L CO2 Cylinder

Setup

1. Installing the CO2 Cylinder

  1. Remove the back cover of the SodaStream machine by pulling it away from the main body.
  2. Remove the seal and cap from the CO2 cylinder.
  3. Insert the CO2 cylinder into the back of the machine, screwing it in firmly until it is securely in place. Do not overtighten.
  4. Replace the back cover, ensuring it clicks into position.

2. Connecting to Power

Plug the power adapter into the machine's port and then into a wall outlet. The Spirit One Touch model requires an AC power source for operation.

Operating Instructions

1. Filling the Carbonating Bottle

Fill the SodaStream carbonating bottle with cold tap water up to the fill line. Do not overfill.

2. Inserting the Bottle

Twist the carbonating bottle into the Quick Snap-Lock mechanism until it is securely in place. Ensure the bottle is upright and centered.

3. Carbonating the Water

The Spirit One Touch features three carbonation buttons on top of the machine, offering different levels of fizz:

  • Left Button: Light fizz
  • Middle Button: Medium fizz
  • Right Button: Strong fizz

Press the desired carbonation button. The machine will automatically carbonate the water and stop when the selected level is reached.

4. Removing the Bottle

Once carbonation is complete, gently twist the bottle counter-clockwise to release it from the Snap-Lock mechanism.

5. Enjoying Your Sparkling Water

Your sparkling water is now ready to enjoy. You may add flavorings after carbonation, if desired.

Maintenance

Cleaning the Machine

  • Wipe the machine with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the machine in water.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners or sharp tools.

Cleaning the Carbonating Bottle

  • Wash the carbonating bottle with lukewarm water and mild dish soap.
  • Do not wash in a dishwasher or use hot water, as this can damage the bottle.
  • Allow the bottle to air dry completely.

CO2 Cylinder Replacement

When the CO2 cylinder is empty, you will notice a decrease in carbonation or no fizz at all. Replace the cylinder following the "Installing the CO2 Cylinder" steps in reverse for removal, and then follow the installation steps for a new cylinder.
