Setup Instructions
- Unpack All Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging and ensure nothing is missing as per Figure 1.
- Rinse Filters: Before first use, rinse the carbon filters thoroughly under running water for at least 20 seconds to remove any loose carbon dust.
- Assemble Pump: Ensure the pump is clean. If disassembled for cleaning, reassemble the pump cover, impeller, and pump lid as shown in Figure 2.
- Place Pump in Tank: Position the DC pump securely in the designated spot at the bottom of the water tank.
- Install Pre-filter Sponges: Place the pre-filter sponges around the pump.
- Insert Filter: Place one rinsed carbon filter into the filter tray on the lid.
- Fill Water Tank: Fill the water tank with clean water up to the 'Max' line indicated on the side. Do not overfill.
- Attach Lid and Spout: Securely place the lid onto the water tank. Choose your preferred spout (flower-like or normal) and attach it to the central pipe on the lid.
- Position Fountain: Place the silicone mat in your desired location and set the assembled fountain on top of it.
- Connect Power: Plug the power adapter into a standard electrical outlet. The fountain will begin operating.
Operating Instructions
The Bonve Pet water fountain is designed for continuous operation, providing fresh water for your pets throughout the day. Its intelligent pump operates quietly, ensuring it does not disturb your pets or household.
- Water Level Monitoring: The fountain features an LED indicator. It glows blue when the water level is sufficient. When the water level drops below the recommended minimum, the light will turn red and flash, indicating it's time to refill. The pump will automatically shut off to prevent dry running.
- Water Flow Options: The fountain supports four different water flow designs by adjusting the spout:

- Flower Waterfall: Multiple streams from the flower spout.
- Bubbling Waterfall: A more vigorous flow from the flower spout.

Maintenance
Regular cleaning and filter replacement are crucial for maintaining water quality and extending the life of your fountain.
- Fountain Cleaning: It is recommended to clean the entire fountain unit once every 2 weeks. Disassemble all parts (tank, lid, pump, sponges, spout) and wash them with mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly to remove all soap residue.
- Filter Replacement: Replace the carbon filter every 2 to 4 weeks, or more frequently if you have multiple pets or notice reduced water flow/quality. Always rinse new filters before use.
- Pump Cleaning: The pump should be cleaned regularly to prevent mineral buildup and ensure optimal performance.
- Unplug the fountain and remove the pump from the tank.
- Disassemble the pump by removing the pump cover and impeller (refer to Figure 2 for component identification).
- Clean the impeller and the inside of the pump housing with a small brush (e.g., a toothbrush) to remove any hair, debris, or mineral deposits.
- Rinse all pump parts thoroughly and reassemble.
