6. Setup (Installation)
- Choose Mounting Location: Select a flat surface on your vehicle's dashboard, panel, or console where the socket can be securely mounted and is easily accessible. Ensure there is enough space behind the panel for the socket body and wiring.
- Drill Mounting Hole: Using an appropriate drill bit (refer to Figure 5.1 for exact dimensions, typically around 1 inch or 2.54 cm diameter), drill a clean hole through the chosen mounting surface.
- Insert Socket: Push the main body of the cigarette lighter socket through the drilled hole from the front of the panel.
- Secure with Retaining Nut: From the back of the panel, thread the retaining nut onto the socket body and tighten it firmly by hand to secure the socket in place. Do not overtighten.

7. Operating Instructions
