1. Important Safety Instructions

Please read all instructions carefully before using the Secura F280R Milk Frother. Retain this manual for future reference. Improper use may result in electric shock, fire, or serious injury.

• Do not immerse the power base, cord, or plug in water or other liquids.
• This appliance is for household use only. Do not use outdoors.
• Always ensure your hands are dry before handling the plug or operating the appliance.
• Do not operate the frother with a damaged cord or plug. Contact customer service for repair.
• Keep the appliance away from hot surfaces, such as stovetops or ovens.
• Ensure the frother is placed on a stable, level surface during operation.
• Do not overfill the milk jug beyond the maximum fill lines to prevent overflow.
• The milk jug and whisk become hot during operation. Handle with care.
• Unplug the frother from the outlet when not in use and before cleaning.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

2. Product Components

The Secura F280R Milk Frother includes the following parts:

• Stainless Steel Milk Jug with Lid
• Power Base
• Frothing Whisk (for hot/cold foam and hot chocolate)
• Heating Whisk (for hot milk only)

3. Setup

1. Unpack: Carefully remove all packaging materials and ensure all components are present.
2. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wash the stainless steel milk jug and whisks with warm soapy water, then rinse thoroughly and dry. Wipe the power base with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the power base in water.
3. Placement: Place the power base on a dry, flat, and stable surface.
4. Whisk Selection: Choose the appropriate whisk for your desired function. The frothing whisk (with coils) is for creating foam and hot chocolate. The heating whisk (flat) is for heating milk without frothing. Insert the chosen whisk onto the pin at the bottom of the milk jug.
5. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a standard 120V AC electrical outlet.

4. Operating Instructions

The Secura F280R offers four functions controlled by a single button. Ensure the correct whisk is installed for your desired function.

4.1 Hot Milk Foam (Lattes, Cappuccinos)

1. Insert the frothing whisk into the milk jug.
2. Pour cold milk into the jug, ensuring it is between the 'MIN' and 'MAX Froth' lines (approximately 5.1 oz / 150ml to 8.5 oz / 250ml).
3. Place the lid on the jug and position the jug onto the power base.
4. Press the power button once. The indicator light will illuminate red.
5. The frother will automatically stop when the milk reaches the optimal temperature and consistency.

4.2 Hot Milk (No Foam)

1. Insert the heating whisk (flat whisk) into the milk jug.
2. Pour cold milk into the jug, ensuring it is between the 'MIN' and 'MAX Heat' lines (approximately 5.1 oz / 150ml to 17 oz / 500ml).
3. Place the lid on the jug and position the jug onto the power base.
4. Press the power button once. The indicator light will illuminate red.
5. The frother will automatically stop when the milk reaches the optimal temperature.

4.3 Hot Chocolate Milk

1. Insert the frothing whisk into the milk jug.
2. Pour cold milk into the jug, ensuring it is between the 'MIN' and 'MAX Heat' lines (approximately 5.1 oz / 150ml to 17 oz / 500ml). Add chocolate powder or syrup.
3. Place the lid on the jug and position the jug onto the power base.
4. Press the power button twice. The indicator light will illuminate red.
5. The frother will automatically stop when the hot chocolate is ready.

4.4 Cold Milk Foam (Iced Beverages)

1. Insert the frothing whisk into the milk jug.
2. Pour cold milk into the jug, ensuring it is between the 'MIN' and 'MAX Froth' lines (approximately 5.1 oz / 150ml to 8.5 oz / 250ml).
3. Place the lid on the jug and position the jug onto the power base.
4. Press the power button three times. The indicator light will illuminate blue.
5. The frother will automatically stop when the cold foam is ready.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your frother.

1. Unplug: Always unplug the frother from the power outlet before cleaning.
2. Cool Down: Allow the frother to cool down completely after use.
3. Milk Jug and Whisks: The stainless steel milk jug and whisks are dishwasher safe. Alternatively, they can be washed by hand with warm soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely.
4. Power Base: Wipe the exterior of the power base with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scourers. Never immerse the power base in water or any other liquid.
5. Storage: Store the frother in a clean, dry place. The unused whisk can be stored in the designated slot on the underside of the power base.
