Setup
- Power Connection: Connect the included USB cable to the DC 5V port on the back of the clock. Plug the other end into a USB power adapter (not included) or a powered USB port.
- Battery Installation (Optional Backup): For battery backup functionality, open the battery compartment on the back of the clock. Insert 3 AAA batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity. Batteries will maintain time settings during power outages but will not keep the display continuously lit.
- Initial Power On: The display will light up upon successful power connection.

Operating Instructions
Setting Time
- Press and hold the TIME SET button on the back of the clock until the hour digits flash.
- Use the UP and DOWN buttons to adjust the hour.
- Press TIME SET again to move to minute adjustment. Use UP and DOWN to set the minutes.
- Press TIME SET once more to confirm and exit time setting mode.
12/24 Hour Mode
- Press the 12/24HR button on the back to toggle between 12-hour and 24-hour display formats.

Setting Alarms (AL1, AL2, AL3)
- Press and hold the ALARM SET button. The alarm number (e.g., AL1) and hour digits will flash.
- Use the UP and DOWN buttons to set the desired alarm hour.
- Press ALARM SET again to move to minute adjustment. Use UP and DOWN to set the minutes.
- Press ALARM SET to confirm the alarm time. Repeat for AL2 and AL3 if needed.
- To enable or disable an alarm, press the corresponding AL ON/OFF button (AL1 ON/OFF, AL2 ON/OFF, AL3 ON/OFF). An indicator light will appear next to the alarm number when active.
The clock supports up to three independent alarm settings.
Brightness Adjustment
- Use the DIMMER slider on the back of the clock to adjust the display brightness to your preference (3 levels).
Voice Control / Power Saving Mode
- To activate Power Saving Mode (voice control), ensure the mode switch on the back is set to 'ON'. The display will turn off after a short period.
- To light up the display, make a sound (e.g., clap, knock on the clock) louder than 60dB.
- To keep the screen continuously on, set the mode switch to 'OFF'.

Daylight Saving Time (DST)
- Press the DST ON/OFF button to enable or disable Daylight Saving Time. This will automatically adjust the time by one hour.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the clock with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Battery Replacement: If using battery backup, replace all 3 AAA batteries when the display becomes dim or unreliable during power outages.
- Storage: If storing the clock for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage.
Troubleshooting
- Display is off in Power Saving Mode: Make a sound (e.g., clap) or gently tap the clock to activate the display.
- Display is dim or flickering: Check the power connection. If using batteries, replace them. Adjust the dimmer setting.
- Alarm not sounding: Ensure the alarm is enabled (indicator light on). Check the volume setting.
- Time/Date is incorrect: Re-enter the time and date settings as described in the 'Operating Instructions' section.
- Rapid battery drain: Continuous display mode (Power Saving Mode OFF) will consume batteries quickly. For prolonged use, keep the clock plugged in via USB.
