Setup and Assembly

  1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all pieces from the packaging.
  2. Battery Installation for Motorized Elevator:
    • Locate the battery compartment on the motorized elevator unit.
    • Using a small screwdriver (not included), open the battery compartment cover.
    • Insert two (2) AA batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
    • Replace the battery compartment cover and secure it with the screw.
  3. Constructing the Marble Run:
    • Begin by connecting base pieces to form a stable foundation.
    • Attach vertical columns to the bases. The pieces are designed to fit together securely.
    • Integrate track pieces, stunt pieces (spinner slide, marble jump, double funnel, track splitter), and the motorized elevator into your design.
    • Ensure all connections are firm to prevent the structure from collapsing during play.
    • The motorized elevator can be adjusted to various heights to accommodate different track designs.

Operating Instructions

  1. Powering On the Elevator: Locate the power switch on the motorized elevator unit and switch it to the "ON" position. The elevator chain will begin to move.
  2. Placing Marbles: Place marbles one at a time into the designated marble entry point at the base of the motorized elevator. The elevator will lift the marbles to the top of the track.
  3. Observing Marble Flow: Once released from the elevator, marbles will travel through the various track pieces and stunt components. Observe the path and make adjustments to your track design as desired.
  4. Experimentation: The set allows for numerous configurations. Experiment with different track layouts to create unique marble paths and challenges. All MindWare Marble Run pieces are compatible, allowing for expansion.
  5. Powering Off: When finished playing, switch the motorized elevator to the "OFF" position to conserve battery life.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe all plastic components with a damp cloth as needed. Do not submerge the motorized elevator unit in water.
  • Battery Replacement: Replace batteries when the elevator motor slows down or stops functioning. Refer to the "Battery Installation" section for instructions.
