1. Product Overview

The ATIMO LED Multi-Function Waterproof Watch is designed for children, offering a durable and feature-rich timepiece suitable for various activities. It features a precise Japanese movement, comfortable PU resin strap, and a highly transparent, pressure-tolerant resin glass. This watch is built to withstand daily use and is water-resistant up to 50 meters.

2. Setup

2.1 Initial Power On

The watch comes with a pre-installed Lithium Metal battery. It should be ready for use upon unboxing. If the display is blank, ensure the battery insulation tab (if present) has been removed. If the issue persists, the battery may need replacement (refer to Section 4.2).

2.2 Setting Time and Date

1. In normal time display mode, press the MODE button repeatedly until the time setting mode is activated (usually indicated by flashing digits).
2. Use the RESET button to cycle through the settings (seconds, minutes, hours, month, date, day of week).
3. Use the START/STOP button to adjust the flashing value upwards.
4. Once all settings are correct, press the MODE button again to exit the setting mode and return to normal time display.

2.3 Setting 12/24 Hour Format

While in time setting mode (as described in 2.2), when the hour digits are flashing, press the START/STOP button to toggle between 12-hour (with AM/PM indicator) and 24-hour formats.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Using the Backlight

The watch features an imported EL Lamp for clear visibility in low-light conditions.

1. Press the LIGHT button (typically on the top-left side of the watch).
2. The display will illuminate for a few seconds, allowing you to read the time clearly at night.

3.2 Using the Alarm Function

1. Press the MODE button until you reach the alarm setting mode (often indicated by 'AL' or an alarm icon).
2. Use the RESET button to select the hour or minute to set.
3. Use the START/STOP button to adjust the value.
4. Press MODE to confirm and exit.
5. To activate/deactivate the alarm, in alarm mode, press START/STOP to toggle the alarm on/off. An alarm icon will appear when active.

3.3 Using the Stopwatch

1. Press the MODE button until you reach the stopwatch mode (often indicated by 'ST' or 'CHRONO').
2. Press the START/STOP button to start the stopwatch.
3. Press START/STOP again to pause/resume.
4. Press the RESET button to reset the stopwatch to zero.

4. Maintenance

4.1 Water Resistance Guidelines

The ATIMO watch is rated 50M water resistant, meaning it can withstand splashes, rain, showering, swimming, and white water rafting. However, it is important to follow these guidelines:

• DO NOT PULL OUT THE BUTTON UNDERWATER. Operating buttons underwater can compromise the water seal and lead to water ingress.
• Avoid long-time underwater activities, as this is not recommended despite the 50M rating.
• Avoid using the watch in extreme hot or cold temperatures, as this can shorten the watch's life.
• Too much water contact, especially hot water or steam, will shorten watch life.

4.2 Cleaning and Care

• Clean the strap regularly with a soft, damp cloth to remove dirt and sweat.
• Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners on the watch.
• Store the watch in a dry place when not in use.

4.3 Battery Replacement

The watch uses 1 Lithium Metal battery (included). When the display becomes dim or stops functioning, the battery may need replacement. It is recommended to have battery replacement performed by a qualified watch technician to ensure the water resistance seal is maintained.
