3. Setup

3.1 Battery Installation

  1. Locate the battery compartment at the rear of the megaphone, typically under the red cap.
  2. Twist or unlatch the cap to open the compartment.
  3. Insert four (4) D-size batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
  4. Securely close the battery compartment cap.

3.2 Attaching the Wrist Strap

Attach the provided wrist strap to the designated loop on the megaphone's handle for added security during use.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Powering On/Off

To power on the megaphone, slide the ON/OFF switch to the "ON" position. A red indicator light will illuminate, confirming the unit is active. To power off, slide the switch to the "OFF" position.

4.2 Voice Mode

  1. Ensure the megaphone is powered on.
  2. Adjust the volume slider to your desired level.
  3. Speak clearly into the microphone located at the rear of the horn.
  4. The megaphone will amplify your voice.

4.3 Siren Alert Mode

To activate the siren, press and hold the "ALARM" button. Release the button to stop the siren sound.

4.4 Music/Melody Playback

To play a pre-programmed melody, press the "MUSIC/SPEAK" button. Press it again to stop the playback.

5. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the megaphone with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  • Storage: When not in use for extended periods, remove the batteries to prevent leakage and store the megaphone in a cool, dry place. The foldable handle allows for compact storage.
  • Battery Care: Replace all batteries simultaneously. Do not mix old and new batteries or different types of batteries.
