1. Introduction

5. Setup

5.1 Charging the Jump Starter

Before initial use, fully charge the Imazing IM23. It is recommended to keep the device charged above 20% for optimal performance. Use the provided 12V wall charger, 12V car charger, or USB cable to charge the unit.

• Connect the appropriate charging cable to the input port on the jump starter.
• Plug the charger into a power source.
• The LCD display will indicate the charging status.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Jump Starting a Vehicle

Follow these steps to safely jump start your 12V vehicle:

1. Ensure the jump starter has at least 20% battery charge.
2. Connect the intelligent jump cable clamps to the jump start port on the IM23.
3. Attach the red clamp to the vehicle's positive (+) battery terminal.
4. Attach the black clamp to the vehicle's negative (-) battery terminal.
5. Observe the indicator light on the smart clamp. A solid green light indicates a correct connection and readiness to jump start. If the light is red or flashing, check connections or refer to the troubleshooting section.
6. If the vehicle battery is completely dead (below 2V), the smart clamp may not show a green light. In this case, press and hold the 'Boost' button on the jump starter for 3 seconds to activate override mode. The green light will then turn solid.
7. Start your vehicle's engine.
8. Once the engine starts, immediately remove the smart clamps from the vehicle battery, then disconnect them from the jump starter.

6.2 Using as a Portable Power Bank

The IM23 can charge various electronic devices:

• Connect your device's USB charging cable to one of the dual USB output ports on the jump starter.
• The LCD display will show the output status.
• For 12V appliances, connect the intelligent cigarette charger jump cable to the 12V DC output port and then to your appliance.

6.3 Using the LED Flashlight

The built-in LED flashlight offers multiple lighting modes:

• Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds to turn on the steady light.
• Press the power button again to switch to strobe mode.
• Press the power button a third time to activate the SOS signal.
• Press the power button a fourth time to turn off the flashlight.

• Store the jump starter in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and high temperatures.
• Recharge the unit every 3-6 months if not in regular use to maintain battery health.
• Clean the device with a dry, soft cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

• Jump Starter Not Turning On: Ensure the unit is charged. If the battery is completely depleted, it may take a few minutes to respond to charging.
• Vehicle Not Starting: Check that the smart clamps are correctly connected (red to positive, black to negative). Ensure the smart clamp indicator is solid green. If the vehicle battery is extremely low (below 2V), use the 'Boost' override function.
