Maintenance and Cleaning
Cleaning the Soleplate
- To clean the soleplate, use a damp cloth and a non-abrasive cleaner.
- Do not use scouring pads, abrasive cleaning agents, or sharp objects to clean the soleplate, as this will damage the SteamGlide coating.
Quick Calc Release System
The Quick Calc Release system collects limescale particles to ensure long-lasting steam performance. Clean the collector regularly, ideally after every 1 month or 10 ironing sessions, or when the iron indicates it's full.
- Ensure the iron is unplugged and has cooled down completely (at least 1 hour).
- Hold the iron horizontally over a sink.
- Pull out the Quick Calc Release collector from the back of the iron.
- Empty the collected limescale particles into the sink.
- Rinse the collector under running water.
- Reinsert the collector back into the iron until it clicks into place.
