4. Setup Instructions

4.1 Setting Time and Date

3. While a setting is flashing, use the START/STOP button to adjust the value.
4. Once all settings are correct, press the MODE button to exit time setting mode and return to the normal time display.

4.2 Setting the Alarm

1. From the normal time display, press the MODE button twice to enter alarm setting mode. The hour digits will flash.
2. Press the START/STOP button to adjust the alarm hour.
3. Press the RESET button to switch to minute setting. The minute digits will flash.
4. Press the START/STOP button to adjust the alarm minute.
5. Press the MODE button to exit alarm setting mode.
6. To turn the alarm on/off, in normal time display, press and hold the RESET button, then press the START/STOP button. An alarm icon will appear/disappear to indicate its status.

5.1 Using the Stopwatch

1. From the normal time display, press the MODE button once to enter stopwatch mode.
2. Press the START/STOP button to start the stopwatch.
3. Press the START/STOP button again to pause the stopwatch.
4. Press the START/STOP button to resume, or press the RESET button to reset the stopwatch to zero.
5. Press the MODE button to exit stopwatch mode.

5.2 Activating the EL Backlight

To illuminate the display in dark conditions, simply press the LIGHT button (top left). The backlight will remain active for a few seconds.

5.3 Switching 12/24 Hour Format

In time setting mode (after pressing MODE three times), press the START/STOP button when the hour is flashing to toggle between 12-hour (with AM/PM indicator) and 24-hour formats.
