1. Product Overview

The hunhun U-Shape LED Aluminum Channel System is designed for professional and aesthetic installation of LED strip lights. It provides a clean, finished look while protecting the LED strips from dust, moisture, and physical contact. Each package contains the following components:

• 20x 2m (6.6ft) Silver Aluminum U-channels
• 20x 2m (6.6ft) Milky PC covers
• 100x Mounting clips
• 90x End caps (45pcs without hole, 45pcs with hole)
• 100x Screws for wood surfaces
• 100x Screws for hard walls and ceilings

Note: LED strip lights are not included with this system.

3. Setup and Installation

The hunhun LED Aluminum Channel System is designed for easy installation in various indoor settings such as living rooms, kitchens, patios, bedrooms, and closets. Follow these steps for proper setup:

1. Prepare the Channel: Measure and cut the aluminum channel to your desired length using an appropriate cutting tool (not included).
2. Insert LED Strip: Carefully insert your LED strip light into the aluminum channel. Ensure it adheres properly if it has an adhesive backing.
3. Attach Cover: Insert one edge of the milky PC cover into one side of the aluminum channel. Then, snap and press the opposite edge of the cover into place along the entire length of the channel. This creates a diffused, uniform light output.
4. Mounting:
   • Position the mounting clips along your desired installation path.
   • Secure the mounting clips to the surface using the provided screws. Use the appropriate screws for woodiness or hard walls/ceilings.
   • Once the clips are secured, snap the aluminum channel into the mounted clips.
5. Install End Caps: Attach the end caps to both ends of the aluminum channel. Use end caps with holes for wiring if necessary, or solid end caps for a clean finish.

4. Operating Instructions

The hunhun LED Aluminum Channel System itself does not require specific operating instructions as it is a passive component. Its function is to house and protect your LED strip lights. Once your LED strips are installed within the channels and connected to their power source (e.g., a power adapter or controller), operate your LED lights according to their individual manufacturer's instructions. The channels are compatible with dimmable LED strips and can be controlled via app if your LED strips and controller support this feature.

5. Maintenance

Maintaining your hunhun LED Aluminum Channel System is straightforward:

• Cleaning: Periodically wipe the aluminum channels and milky covers with a soft, dry, or slightly damp cloth to remove dust and debris. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish or material.
• Protection: The aluminum profile provides excellent heat dissipation for LED strips, extending their lifespan. The milky cover protects the LEDs from exposure to dust, hair, and physical contact.
• Material Durability: The high-quality material used for the covers is designed not to yellow for at least two years, ensuring long-lasting aesthetic appeal.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues during installation or use, consider the following:

• LED Strip Not Fitting: Ensure your LED strip's width is compatible with the channel's internal dimensions (0.48 inches / 12.2mm). Refer to the dimensions diagram below.
• Cover Difficult to Snap In: Apply even pressure along the length of the cover. It is designed to fit snugly to prevent light leakage and provide protection.
• Light Leakage: Ensure the end caps are properly seated and the milky cover is fully snapped into the channel. The new end cap design is specifically engineered to minimize light leakage.
• Screws Breaking: While screws are provided, if you experience issues with breakage, consider using alternative screws suitable for your specific mounting surface.
