2. Safety Information

4. Installation (Setup)

This lamp is designed for recessed installation into a standard 503 wall support box. Follow these steps carefully:

1. Disconnect Power: Before starting, ensure the main power supply to the installation area is completely switched off at the circuit breaker.
2. Prepare Wall Box: Ensure a standard 503 support box is properly installed in the wall.
3. Wire Connection: Connect the two wires from the lamp to the 230V AC power supply wires within the wall box. It is crucial to respect the Live (L) and Neutral (N) connections as indicated by your electrical wiring. If unsure, consult a qualified electrician.
4. Internal Switch: Locate the small internal switch on the lamp unit. Set this switch to the "ON" position. This activates the anti-blackout function and allows the battery to charge.
5. Mounting: Carefully insert the lamp unit into the 503 support box. Use the provided screws to secure the lamp firmly to the wall box.

Caution: When removing the transparent cover for accessing the internal switch, exercise care to avoid breaking the fixing tabs.

5. Operating Instructions

The O.N LED Anti-Blackout Emergency Light operates automatically once installed and powered.

• Normal Operation: When main power (230V AC) is present, the lamp's internal battery will charge. A small green LED indicator will illuminate to show that the unit is receiving power and charging.
• Emergency Mode: In the event of a power outage (blackout), the lamp will automatically switch to battery power and illuminate, providing emergency lighting.
• Battery Autonomy: The fully charged battery provides up to 3 hours of continuous light at maximum power during a blackout.
• Recharge Time: After a power outage, the battery requires approximately 6-8 hours to fully recharge once main power is restored.

Note: The small green LED indicator remains lit when power is present. If desired, a small piece of opaque tape can be applied over it to reduce its visibility, without affecting functionality.

• Cleaning: Disconnect power before cleaning. Wipe the lamp's surface with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
