2. Setup

2.1. Unpacking and Included Components

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Verify that all items listed below are present:

Ensure the player and all connected devices are powered off before making any connections.

  1. Video Connection:
    • For high-definition video and audio, connect the provided HDMI cable from the HDMI OUT port on the player to an HDMI IN port on your TV or receiver.
    • Alternatively, for standard definition video, use the RCA (Composite Video) cable (Yellow) to connect the VIDEO OUT port on the player to the VIDEO IN port on your TV.
    • Component (YPbPr) and VGA outputs are also available for compatible displays.
  2. Audio Connection:
    • If using HDMI for video, audio will also be transmitted via HDMI.
    • For separate audio, connect the RCA Audio cables (Red for Right, White for Left) from the AUDIO OUT ports on the player to the AUDIO IN ports on your TV or audio system.
    • Digital audio outputs (Coaxial, Optical) are available for connection to compatible audio receivers.
  3. Microphone Connection:
    • Connect the two wired microphones to the MIC 1 and MIC 2 input jacks on the front of the player.
  4. Power Connection:
    • Connect the power cord to the AC IN port on the rear of the player, then plug the other end into a standard electrical outlet.

2.3. Initial Power On

After all connections are secure, press the POWER button on the front panel or the remote control to turn on the unit. The display will illuminate, indicating the player is ready for use.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1. Disc Playback (DVD/CD/CDG)

  1. Press the EJECT button to open the disc tray.
  2. Place a disc (DVD, CD, CDG, VCD, SVCD, MP3, CD-R, CD-RW, JPEG) gently into the tray with the label side facing up.
  3. Press EJECT again to close the tray. The player will automatically begin reading the disc.
  4. Use the PLAY/PAUSE, STOP, PREV/NEXT, FWD/REV buttons on the remote or front panel to control playback.

3.2. USB Playback

The player features a built-in USB reader for playback of digital files.

  1. Insert a USB flash drive or a 2.5" external HDD (up to 1TB) into the USB port on the front panel.
  2. The player will detect the USB device and display its contents. Navigate through folders and files using the remote control's navigation buttons.
  3. Supported video formats: AVI, MPG, MPEG4, VOB (up to 720*480/576 resolution).
  4. Supported audio formats: MP3.
  5. Supported image formats: JPEG.
  6. Important Note: The player does not support USB 3.0 devices or MP4 file playback via USB.

3.3. CD+G to MP3+G Conversion (Ripping)

Convert your CD+G discs to MP3+G files and store them on a USB device.

  1. Insert the CD+G disc you wish to convert into the disc tray.
  2. Ensure a USB flash drive or external HDD is connected to the USB port.
  3. Press the RIPPING button on the remote control or front panel.
  4. Follow the on-screen prompts to select tracks and initiate the ripping process. The player supports faster ripping speeds (up to 8x).
  5. The converted files will be saved as MP3+G on your USB device. Note that ripped tracks may be named generically (e.g., "Track 1") and may require renaming on a computer for better organization.

3.4. Digital Recording

Record your singing performances directly to a USB device.

  1. Ensure microphones are connected and a USB device is inserted.
  2. Play your desired karaoke track (from disc or USB).
  3. Press the RECORD button on the front panel or remote.
  4. Sing into the microphone. The player will record your vocals along with the background music and lyrics, creating an MP3G file.
  5. Press STOP to end the recording.
  6. Recordings can be played back from the USB device for practice or sharing.

3.5. Microphone and Audio Controls

The player features a built-in professional mixer for enhanced sound quality.

3.6. Song List Creator (Jukebox Function)

The player can generate a text file containing song information and numbers for tracks stored on your USB drive, facilitating a jukebox-like experience.
