Setup and Installation

Before first use, ensure the solar panel is exposed to direct sunlight for at least 8 hours to fully charge the battery.

1. Ground Installation

1. Attach the ground stake to the main light unit by aligning the screw hole on the stake with the bracket on the light and securing it with the provided nut.
2. Choose a location that receives ample direct sunlight throughout the day.
3. To prevent damage to the plastic stake, it is recommended to moisten the ground or create a pilot hole before inserting the stake.
4. Push the assembled unit firmly into the ground.
5. Adjust the angle of the solar panel (180 degrees) to face the sun for maximum charging efficiency.
6. Adjust the angle of the spotlight (90 degrees) to illuminate your desired area.

2. Wall Mounting

1. Remove the ground stake if it is attached.
2. Choose a wall location that receives direct sunlight and allows the light to illuminate the desired area.
3. Mark the positions for the mounting screws using the bracket as a guide.
4. Drill holes at the marked positions and insert the wall plugs.
5. Secure the light unit to the wall using the provided screws.
6. Adjust the angle of the solar panel (180 degrees) to face the sun for maximum charging efficiency.
7. Adjust the angle of the spotlight (90 degrees) to illuminate your desired area.

Operating Instructions

Automatic Operation

The T-SUN Solar Spotlights are equipped with a light sensor that automatically turns the lights on at dusk and off at dawn. Ensure the solar panel is clean and unobstructed to allow for proper charging and light sensing.

Selecting Light Modes

The spotlight features two lighting modes: High and Low. A button on the back of the light unit allows you to cycle through these modes. Press the button once to switch between High and Low brightness. The selected mode will remain active until changed or the battery depletes.

Maintenance

To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your T-SUN Solar Spotlights, follow these maintenance guidelines:

• Clean Solar Panel: Regularly wipe the solar panel with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust, dirt, leaves, or snow. A clean panel ensures maximum sunlight absorption and efficient charging.
• Clear Obstructions: Ensure no trees, bushes, or other objects are shading the solar panel during the day, as this will reduce charging efficiency.
• Battery Replacement: The built-in lithium-ion battery is designed for long-term use. If the light duration significantly decreases over time, the battery may need replacement. Consult the manufacturer for compatible replacement batteries.
• Seasonal Adjustment: In winter months or areas with less sunlight, the charging time may be longer, and the illumination duration shorter. Adjust the solar panel angle as needed to capture the most sunlight.

Troubleshooting

If your T-SUN Solar Spotlight is not functioning as expected, consider the following:

• Light does not turn on at night:
  • Ensure the solar panel is receiving direct sunlight for at least 8 hours during the day.
  • Check if the light mode is correctly selected (High/Low).
  • Verify that the solar panel is clean and free from obstructions.
  • Ensure there are no other strong light sources nearby that might trigger the light sensor to keep the spotlight off.
• Light duration is shorter than expected:
  • Insufficient sunlight exposure during the day. Relocate the unit or clear obstructions.
  • Battery may not be fully charged. Allow more charging time.
  • Battery capacity may have degraded over time. Consider battery replacement if applicable.
• Light appears dim:
  • Ensure the light is set to the 'High' brightness mode if maximum brightness is desired.
  • Clean the solar panel and light lens.
