2. Safety Information
Please observe the following safety precautions to prevent injury or damage to the device:

Front Panel Indicators and Controls:

4. Setup
4.1 Hard Drive Installation (Optional)
The NVR requires a hard drive for video recording. Hard drives are not included and must be purchased separately. The NVR supports up to two SATA hard drives.
- Unscrew and remove the top cover of the NVR.
- Connect the SATA data cable and power cable to the hard drive and the corresponding ports on the NVR motherboard.
- Secure the hard drive to the NVR chassis using the provided screws.
- Replace the top cover and secure it with screws.
4.2 Connecting Cameras
Connect your IP cameras to the PoE ports on the rear panel of the NVR using Ethernet cables. The PoE ports provide both power and data connection to compatible cameras.

4.3 Connecting to a Display and Network
- Connect a monitor to the NVR's HDMI or VGA output port.
- Connect a USB mouse to one of the NVR's USB ports.
- Connect the NVR's LAN port to your network router or switch using an Ethernet cable for network access and remote viewing capabilities.
4.4 Powering On
Connect the provided power adapter to the NVR's 48V power input and then plug it into a power outlet. Flip the power switch on the rear panel to the ON position. The NVR will boot up, and you should see the boot screen on your connected monitor.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Initial Setup Wizard
Upon first boot, the NVR will guide you through an initial setup wizard. Follow the on-screen prompts to set up language, date/time, network settings, and hard drive initialization.
5.2 Live View
After initial setup, the NVR will display the live view of connected cameras. You can switch between single-camera view and multi-camera grid view using the on-screen controls or the remote control.
5.3 Recording
The NVR supports continuous recording, scheduled recording, and motion-triggered recording. Configure recording schedules and settings via the main menu. Ensure your hard drive is initialized and healthy for recording.
5.4 Playback
Access recorded footage through the playback menu. You can search for recordings by date, time, and event type. Use the playback controls to fast forward, rewind, and pause.
5.5 Network Access and Remote Viewing
Once the NVR is connected to your network, you can access it remotely via a web browser or a dedicated mobile application. Refer to the NVR's network settings for IP address and port information. Ensure proper port forwarding is configured on your router for external access.
6. Maintenance
6.1 Hard Drive Management
Regularly check the status of your hard drives through the NVR's menu. Format hard drives periodically if necessary, or configure them for overwrite mode to ensure continuous recording.
6.2 Firmware Updates
Check the manufacturer's website for available firmware updates. Keeping your NVR's firmware up-to-date ensures optimal performance and security. Follow the provided instructions carefully when performing updates.
6.3 Cleaning
Clean the exterior of the NVR with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosols. Ensure ventilation openings are free from dust and obstructions.
7. Troubleshooting
- No Power:
Ensure the power adapter is securely connected to both the NVR and a working power outlet. Check the power switch on the rear panel.
- No Video Output:
Verify the HDMI/VGA cable is securely connected to both the NVR and the monitor. Ensure the monitor is powered on and set to the correct input source.
- Cameras Not Displaying:
Check that cameras are properly connected to the PoE ports. Ensure cameras are powered on and compatible with the NVR. Verify network settings for IP cameras.
- No Recording:
Confirm that a hard drive is installed and properly initialized. Check recording schedules and ensure there is sufficient disk space. Verify camera connections.
- Remote Access Issues:
Ensure the NVR is connected to the network and has a valid IP address. Check router settings for port forwarding and firewall rules. Verify mobile app or web browser settings.
