Maintenance
- Cleaning Lenses: Use the provided cleaning cloth or a soft, lint-free cloth to gently wipe the objective lens and eyepiece. For stubborn smudges, use a lens cleaning solution designed for optics. Avoid abrasive materials.
- Body Cleaning: Wipe the rubber armor and magnalium framework with a damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals.
- Storage: Store the spotting scope in its carry case in a cool, dry place when not in use. Ensure all lens caps are in place to protect the optics from dust and scratches.
- Waterproof Care: While the scope is waterproof and nitrogen-purged for fog resistance, avoid prolonged submersion. After exposure to moisture, wipe the scope dry before storing.

Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Blurred Image | Improper focus; dirty lenses; eyecup not adjusted. | Adjust focusing knob; clean lenses; adjust eyecup for optimal eye relief. |
| Dark or Obscured View | Lens caps still on; objective lens blocked; low light conditions. | Remove all lens caps; ensure clear line of sight; use in adequate lighting. |
| Unstable Image | Tripod not stable; loose connection to tripod. | Ensure tripod is on a flat, stable surface; tighten all tripod connections and scope mount. |
| Fogging Inside Lenses | Extreme temperature changes (rare due to nitrogen purging). | Allow scope to acclimate to ambient temperature. If persistent, contact support. |
