Setup

  1. Prepare Canister: Ensure your butane canister is compatible (short nozzle, snap joint). Remove any protective caps from the canister.
  2. Attach Torch Head: Align the torch head's connector with the top of the butane canister. Push the torch head down onto the canister and rotate it clockwise until it locks securely into place. You should feel a click or firm resistance.
  3. Check Connection: Verify that the torch head is firmly attached and there are no gas leaks.

Operating Instructions

  1. Open Gas Valve: Slowly turn the gas flow regulator knob (located at the rear of the torch) counter-clockwise to allow butane gas to flow. You should hear a faint hissing sound.
  2. Ignite Flame: Press the single-touch piezo ignition switch button. The flame should ignite immediately. If it doesn't, close the gas valve, wait a few seconds, and try again.
  3. Adjust Flame: Use the gas flow regulator knob to adjust the flame intensity and size. Turn clockwise for a smaller flame and counter-clockwise for a larger flame. The air flow control valve can also be adjusted for desired flame characteristics (e.g., spit fire or soft fire).
  4. Reverse Use: The torch is designed for 360-degree reverse use, allowing you to operate it upside down after a 2-minute warm-up period to prevent flaring.
  5. Turn Off: To extinguish the flame, turn the gas flow regulator knob fully clockwise until the flame goes out completely.
