1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the AY Portable Bluetooth Speaker. This speaker is designed to deliver powerful stereo sound with rich bass, featuring IPX7 waterproofing, True Wireless Stereo (TWS) functionality, and a built-in microphone for hands-free calling. 3. Product Overview

Controls and Indicators:

  • Power Button: Press and hold to power on/off. Short press to play/pause.
  • Volume Up (+): Short press to increase volume. Long press for next track.
  • Volume Down (-): Short press to decrease volume. Long press for previous track.
  • Bluetooth/TWS Button: Short press to enter Bluetooth pairing mode. Long press to initiate TWS pairing.
  • LED Indicator: Displays power, charging, and Bluetooth status.
  • Charging Port: Micro USB input for charging.
  • AUX-in Port: 3.5mm audio input for wired connections.

4. Setup

4.1 Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the speaker. Connect the Micro USB charging cable to the speaker's charging port and the other end to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port. The LED indicator will show charging status and turn off when fully charged. A full charge takes approximately 4 hours.

4.2 Power On/Off

  • To power on: Press and hold the Power button for 2-3 seconds until you hear an audible prompt and the LED indicator lights up.
  • To power off: Press and hold the Power button for 2-3 seconds until you hear an audible prompt and the LED indicator turns off.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Bluetooth Pairing (Single Speaker)

  1. Ensure the speaker is powered on and the LED indicator is blinking blue, indicating it's in pairing mode.
  2. On your Bluetooth-enabled device (smartphone, tablet, laptop), enable Bluetooth.
  3. Search for "AY Speaker" or "AY-SPK" in the list of available devices.
  4. Select "AY Speaker" to connect. Once connected, the LED indicator will turn solid blue, and you will hear a confirmation sound.

5.2 True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Pairing (Two Speakers)

The TWS function allows you to pair two AY Portable Bluetooth Speakers together for a true stereo sound experience.

  1. Ensure both speakers are powered on and not connected to any other Bluetooth device.
  2. On one speaker (this will be the primary speaker), long press the Bluetooth/TWS button until you hear a prompt indicating TWS pairing mode.
  3. The two speakers will automatically search for and connect to each other. Once connected, you will hear a confirmation sound, and the LED indicators on both speakers will change to a solid blue.
  4. Now, on your Bluetooth-enabled device, search for "AY Speaker" (only one will appear) and connect. Both speakers will now play audio in stereo.

5.3 Auxiliary (AUX) Connection

For non-Bluetooth devices, use the included 3.5mm audio cable.

  1. Connect one end of the 3.5mm audio cable to the AUX-in port on the speaker.
  2. Connect the other end to the audio output jack of your device.
  3. The speaker will automatically switch to AUX mode.

5.4 Hands-Free Calling

When connected via Bluetooth, the speaker's built-in microphone allows for hands-free calls.

  • To answer an incoming call: Short press the Power button.
  • To end a call: Short press the Power button.
  • To reject an incoming call: Long press the Power button.

5.5 Playback Controls

  • Play/Pause: Short press the Power button.
  • Next Track: Long press the Volume Up (+) button.
  • Previous Track: Long press the Volume Down (-) button.
  • Volume Up: Short press the Volume Up (+) button.
  • Volume Down: Short press the Volume Down (-) button.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Waterproofing (IPX7)

The speaker is IPX7 waterproof, meaning it can withstand full immersion in water up to 1 meter (3.3 feet) for 30 minutes. Ensure the charging port cover is securely closed before exposing the speaker to water.

6.2 Cleaning and Storage

  • Clean the speaker with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Store the speaker in a cool, dry place away from extreme temperatures and direct sunlight.
  • If not used for extended periods, charge the speaker at least once every three months to maintain battery health.
